"Was not a fan. Apparently they’re supposed to have a lot of options (they claim 20) but we counted and there were only like 9. And they were mediocre at best. Also the desert pizzas were lacking. They didn’t restock any of the stuff that ran out frequently enough so what we wanted for desert wasn’t even up there the entire time during our visit. They only had 2 options for desert out and it wasn’t that great. The Starry drink tasted absolutely horrible too! It was all carbonation and no soda. The lemonade was the only thing even kinda good and even then it’s super sweet. Then when I went to the bathroom, it felt disgusting and also wasn’t stocked. I really liked this place. They custom made me a pizza for $8.99. My granddaughter loved the game room.

Good food, fast lunch and clean enough at a decent price. The guy standing out front playing a saxophone was unexpected but a plus.

The place is really great, I love the atmosphere, it’s very simple, classic, and it has a good scent of pizza. Very kid-friendly, employees are very welcoming and nice. They have a game land and prize area where kids can get prizes if they win tickets. Would recommend getting mystery bags, if you could. However, my family loves pizza, but I don’t so personally for me I wouldn’t eat much here besides the desert. If you’re a pizza lover though, it’s great for you. A variety of pizza choices. Overall, would come here all the time if I liked pizza (this is based on my tastebuds, everyone is different. 10/10 would recommend!

"Great food, cozy atmosphere. The only downside is they don't do phone/take out orders after 5 when they open. The line is ALWAYS out the door and takes a while to get a table unless you are there the second it opens. They can't expand. Literally the only complaint I have is the wait time and lack of take away but I guess it's to ensure freshness."

"We came in around 8 on a week night and we enjoyed a little jazz before it ended. Most tables were halfway done by the time we sat down... service was awful. The server was nice, but was not attentive or maybe she was avoiding us. We waited 40 minutes for fried oysters as our app before I asked what looked like a manager about our appetizer. I know how long it was because of what time it was when I took my first video. It seemed like the man I asked went to the back and made them himself. At that point most of the tables were gone but 2. About 15 minutes later our fried shrimp entree and po boy came out. It was a ridiculously long time for fried food. Don't go hungry."

"We had such an amazing experience tonight at Sam and Rosco's Restaurant! We came to celebrate my mom's 65th birthday ! We had a surprise party for my mom and the staff helped me pull it off without a hitch. Some of our party was late due to traffic, and they were so patient and kind. They did not rush us. The service and food was exceptional from beginning to end! They even allowed me to store our cake in the refrigerator. They lit the candles, dimmed the lights, and had the entire staff sing her happy birthday! She felt so special. She cried like a baby! You even get a birthday discount on the day of your birthday! Thank Ya'll so much for helping me celebrate mom's birthday! We definitely felt like family! You all are the BEST! The food is always above par!"

"Today was the first time in a while that I visited Gabe's Downtown. The service and food was still top tier. Connor was our server and he and his peers gave us the right amount of attention. "After attempting to eat at Nancy's Pizza because we wanted a Chicago Deep Dish Pizza and getting the worst service (which was no service. We were seated and our order was never taken. We were the only table w/o food. Only one other table was being used and they had food. 4 other people leaked in and the waitress went straight to them w/ plates ready to take their order even though we had been waiting 20 minutes). We have always loved Fabiano's as we used to live near by but have moved away. They did not disappoint! Drinks and order taken right away and Pizza was delicious! Great job!!!"
