"Absolutely love the food, healthy and light. Nevertheless the last few times I door dashed the order there is always something off about it. The first and second time I ordered a ‘pick two sandwich’ and they just made a whole sandwich of the same sandwich when I ordered a BLT and Italian they just sent a whole Italian both times and kept the cheese (despite me ordering without) both times. Then the third time I door dashed they wrapped the sandwich’s up with the pickles out of the clean wrap so all the juices got into the bread. Then this time, the forth time I door dashed it, the left a freaking long tooth pick in the sandwich horizontally so it would be hidden within the sandwich. All in all, now I’m questioning whether they’ve spit in my food too, because I’ve had so many problems out off door dashing them. Great food, but it’s hard to trust the staff, which is an absolute shame considering I’ve given them so many chances and a a decent amount of money. Do better on supervising the young staff and the rating would have been better. Disclaimer: I don’t write reviews, but I felt as if there’s a serious problem when it comes down to door dash orders that absolutely needs to be addressed. We pay a lot of money for that and I expect more when it comes to trusting the staff with delivery orders. I WILL NOT be door dashing McAllisters anymore."

"Had a chance to hop into Shalimar while traveling back to Indy. Food turned out to be on both end of the spectrum. Ordered Vegetarian Thali, Fish Pakora and Papad. While the Thali turned out to be the best I had in a while, with lip smacking dishes and ample quantity while being fairly priced; the fish pakora and papad were fairly average with the papad even tasting a bit off. Would recommend just to go with thali when trying this place out it will not let you down."

"After reading all the reviews I was excited for a burger, however was disappointed. Bacon was like eating rubber and the meat was over cooked and dry. This was during the dinner rush so it is possible it's a new cook or they was just doing the best they could this evening. I seen many others who truly looked like they was enjoying there food. I will try to eat there again, but probably not order the burger. Good service, no complaints. I'm sure they would of corrected burger issue but I don't trust anyone with my food after a complaint...thanks Hollywood lol. Service: Dine in Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4"

"We drove all the way from Cincinnati to dine here. On a Saturday evening the wait time to be seated was 15 minutes. Everything was clean. The staff was pleasant. The food was OUTSTANDING! I've been to about 15 Famous Dave's across the country and this one definitely upheld the usual standard. Our waitress was great and total we spent $200. So another win for Famous Dave's! OH, I took away a star because they lost our order and it caused us to have to wait an hr for food. But when it came out it was hot and fresh, and plentiful."
