Hotel Abtei Hamburg has kicked out here: A classic dense but modern ambience was created from the building of an old wax factory with lots of effort, attention, beautiful decoration and accessories as well as heart blood, antiques and collection pieces. Many in English style absolutely high quality and the noble restaurant very noble, harmonious and cozy. The pleasant scent of an open fireplace envelops a like pleasant music, the view of the open kitchen, which can be seen behind a glass pane with 3 dedicated employees in an absolutely clean environment and a very binding personal care also by the operator pair. Also in the slightly more open bistro area clear photo art, a view under the roof and a truly perfect atmosphere including all adjoining rooms and the ingeniously decorated floor for celebrations. Loft is very good! Lay is a famous life artist who recognized his dream here. It aims at a towel audience for the restaurant (men of 45, € , but in the bistro offers attractive main dishes from the same kitchen already by 15, €. Due to the high-quality ingredients and the craftsmanship of its chefs, appetizers, desserts and beverages are really coming together. All in all, fine, noble and stunning, but not cheap and equipment only from the finest. We found in the relatively well visited, not so stiff bistro besides few slightly elevated guests very pleasant, quiet audience. Offer: Creative, fresh kitchen, some snacks, a touch of rustic and sounding complementary main dishes from a daily table. Reservation is recommended. Lay 's Loft is a jewel with really good cuisine and exceptional architecture. The ambitious competitors of this segment in the regional environment have received a nice addition, but do not have to fear your guests because here a new niche was opened and you also need to like the pomp... service friendly reception; the restaurant manager took the wardrobe and was supported by a very nice colleague and the operator pair. Support for the evening dense, qualified and binding, including chat and baggage from/with the ambitious boss. The staff is by no means high quality and really classic friendly. The food begins with a Kir Royal (12, € and bread basket with baguette and a fresh crispy tuna tip from the house very well. On the extensive wine map the very good, fruity splashes and with 42, € normal price Sancerre was one of the cheaper offers. A curry soup and parmesan soup of 8, € were classic peach, very tasty, but also a bit mild and could have been a bit more sustainable by adding some spicy ingredients (4*). A really great skater under a mustard crust (17,50€) on a delicious freshly prepared tasty potato cucumber salad, but who took the heat relatively quickly to the fish; here I would have dispensed with the assembly (4 5*). A pink, super sweet and ingeniously tuned, plentiful kalbspant á la Vitello Tonnato (16, €) originates from the composition, wort and the creamy fine-saure paving sauce on the top and 1A wonderfully harmonized with the salads. This is star height and thus 5*. A freshly made, cold rhubarb with ice and hibiscus foam (8, € stunning and a slightly clear lemon with parfait and raspberries (9, € almost excellent (4 5*). Conclusion: Very good, high-ambient cuisine almost on the demand of star gastronomy. Certainly not for the daily; but we will certainly visit the very fine restaurant with red fabric wallpapers to see if there is something else... The ambience The stay is a (special experience; Well-being guaranteed. Here there is so much to discover and marvel that the high-quality table equipment (in the bistro without fabric napkins and decoration becomes a side thing. They arrive immediately, inhale the atmosphere and stay here longer. Cleanliness all well maintained."
