"I want to like Village Wines because it's convenient. Recently I talked a friend into going there for dinner and a glass of wine. You would think that would be an easy thing to order but apparently not. The person who was our wait staff didn't know anything about the specials on the wine for happy hour or anything and he put in our food order incorrectly so we had to wait for them to remake it. In general the service was very poor. As for the food, I had the steak tacos and they were horrible. Poor experience. Didn’t honor our reservation and put us in the back of the restaurant, despite we came to listen to the music. Ordered food and was clear about onion allergy but, wasn’t honored. Didn’t eat meal and no accommodations made to remake etc. clearly they didn’t care if we ever returned. ….. :

We tend to only go to Village Wines if we have a Groupon voucher. We had a voucher expiring on 2/15 so last Friday, February 8th, we escaped the house after being snowbound and made a dash to Village Wine. While still watching the snowflakes come down, we enjoyed several glasses of a pinot grigio and we each had a flatbread pizza. Stephanie took care of us and made the visit very enjoyable. Sharp young gal. Dinner was taken care of with leftovers that night! We'll be back.
