"Best Fried Cod!. My family and i went here for the first time after we all had a craving for fried fish. The Cod is excellent here i must say, but i was dissapointed in a couple of things to do with our service. First off i ordered the cod fish dinner and when i asked if they had fried okra i was told no and then i asked if i could get onion rings instead of french fries or a baked potato and she said flat out no. I always thought customers were suppose to be able to get what they wanted. I would have gladly paid an upcharge. Also, we were suppose to get bread with our meal and that was never brought out or mentioned. Nevertheless, i will not let it deter me from visiting The Bush again as...

The tenderloins are great grilled or breaded. Freshly made chicken tenders so much more.

As the others have said this is the best fish in Terre Haute. I used to come here 50 years ago for lunch when I was in high school at Gerstmeyer. I have never been disappointed

I'm so embarrassed that I have lived in Terre Haute for 4 years and this is my first visit. Even worse I had to hear about it from someone who lived here 15 years ago. Pretty tasty I must say. Probably the best onion rings I've ever had. Fish had a great flavor as well. Big servings. Cold beer. EXCELLENT service. Thank you Buddy. We'll be back.
