We were seated reservations a must) in the rear of the property and enclosed outside area… heaters available. Cute… I guess. Metal chairs and wobbly tables no a problem just warning you) . Food .. nothing authentic about the meals. FYI there was no crab cakes this day. Servers were nice…but no there was no timely service at all. It may have been out our fault , we didn’t have any alcoholic beverages, so we were overlooked, the appetizers came out after the entrees and the orders were a bit mixed up. Called because we were running late and was told it was fine and to still come. When we got there we were ignored by staff for 10 minutes and only greeted by the chef. We left shortly after that because it appeared our presence wasn’t wanted.

So I decided to try this place because I’ve been seeing it all over the socials … I must say 10/10 I had the blackberry mojito which was really good but I’m not a big rum drinker so I tried the sorrel mimosa and honey let me tell you IT DID NOT MISS..for my app I got the ackee tostones jerk grilled wings and crab cakes..everything was amazing I ordered the stew snapper with rice and peas and couldn’t eat it because I was full off my appetizers. so I had a great lunch for the next day I also bought the bread pudding to go and it was more delicious than I thought it would of been my server Andray was very attentive and entertaining the grotto bk is a must try
