"You know you’re getting GREAT food when you see that red and white checkered paper! It’s been a few years since I last ate at Spring House Grille in Roaring Spring, PA, so I decided to pay a visit today. I am SO glad I did! Especially since they went from making decent food to making Excellent food that filled me right up!The meal I had today was the 4 piece fried chicken with “steak” fries and green beans!Oh man! The meat was so tender and loaded with flavor, the steak fries were cooked to golden yellow perfection and the green beans were fresh, juicy, and surprisingly vibrant! I was quite impressed with both the aesthetic and quality!The staff was wonderful and very accommodating during our visit, and the atmosphere was very roomy, inviting and warm. I especially liked the aquarium in the middle of the dining room, the wood siding on one of the walls that made me feel like I was on a boat, and the rotating glass dessert table!Overall, Spring House Grille has REALLY stepped their game up since my last visit, and I DEFINITELY recommend it if you’re visiting the Roaring Spring area! The only negative thing I can say about it is they close at 4:00 pm. Otherwise, It’s a superb local eatery!"
