"I had a good first experience here. After reading reviews, it seemed like this was the best place near the beach for a poke bowl/sushi. I wanted to pick up a takeout lunch to take to the beach. I placed the order in advance online and did a make your own bowl . I picked 2 different sauces and requested them on the side because I wasn 't sure which one I wanted. When I got there to pick up the bow, the staff notified me that they put the sauce on the bowl since they didn 't see the note about sauce on the side until the end of the order. Atmosphere: Quaint wooden tables and benches. Small restaurant, probably couldn't seat more than 8 people in a group from the looks of it.Service: Attentive and friendly.Food: Shoyu ramen 8/10. The chasu was to die for. Miso ramen 9/10.

Been here dozens of times and haven’t gotten tired yet. You know it’s a good ramen shop when they keep their menu simple! The ramen tastes amazing and the meat is always cooked to perfection. The bowls of ramen are big, so i would recommend getting just a bowl and a app or roll to share with it. Staff is friend, place is clean, and located down from the beach.

Tokyo Ramen Poke is our family 's favorite sushi place in Jax. Casual and high quality. Why isn 't Sushi in the name of the restaurant? Would generative AI have created a better restaurant name by looking at the photos of diners? Well ChatGPT isn 't going to write Yelp reviews anytime soon. Or will it? I promise, I am a real person who has actually enjoyed many meals at Tokyo.Start with some pork buns or gyoza. My sushi-shy, finicky family opts for Philly rolls. Yawn for me but they love it. Poke of course is a great option. As is the ramen. Branch out and try the chicken or seafood ramen which is a melange of all three food groups: ramen, poke, and sushi.
