"FishCastle played some songs last night at Tokio Headhouse Cafe and Bar at 122 Lombard in Philly. LAST CHANCE, a.k.a. Jack and Ingrid were great hosts and excellent original players. Even if you can't make it there for the music, the Japanese food is wonderful, and not overpriced. The owners are sweet and intelligent people, and the bartender is competent and lovely. Wish we weren't on this diet so we could try more items! The place is beautiful, spotless, and we were told there's a ballroom upstairs. Go there."

This spot is the one I always prefer. I visit plenty of restaurants but to this place I constantly return again and again. The crew is very helpful and the cuisine they place on your table is so appetizing. I never decline to have a decent dinner in this restaurant. I recommend this place with pleasure.

Amazing restaurant, owned by a very friendly (award winning! woman with the most loveable personality. She does everything herself so the service is slow but I had a fantastic time and the sushi was delicious. So was the cocktail I got! Great specials and prices and they have live shows here so come check it out!!!!

Me and my wife came to maidam Saito's sushi class and we could not have enjoyed it more. Madam saito is so kind and patient and fun. She is full of knowledge and the food is extremely fresh. This is an extremely clean establishment and I could not recommend it more. Whether you are a sushi enthusiast or just looking for a great place to eat do not hesitate.

"We were there celebrating two birthdays. Our server Faith was wonderful. She was attentive without being intrusive and knowledgeable about the menu. We were a table of 6 and ordered quite a bit of food, some of which was great and others lackluster. The bao buns were great and the small calamari salad was huge and those who had it said delicious. The spareribs were good as well as the edamame dumplings, although the way those were served made it hard to fully enjoy. Each dumpling should be on a individual type spoon so you can enjoy the soup part as well as the dumpling. The way they were served in one large bowl with only one spoon made it so the soup part is left at the bottom. I did request extra spoons from the expediter but they never came. The worst part of our appetizer course was somehow an item was switched to another in the computer and served to us. It had shellfish in it and that wasn’t known when someone at our table who doesn’t eat shellfish ate it. The sashimi was good but the tuna tartare thing was really bad. The entrees we had were the duck, which I was told was delicious, the miso cod, which was fishy, the whole fish which was tasteless, the lobster fried rice, which was okay but lacking flavor. The best dish was the black pepper beef, it was delicious and elegantly served. We had all the sides and all were quite good especially the eggplant and the wasabi mashed potatoes. It was a nice evening but it felt a little stale for a Starr restaurant."
