My things is the bbq in my opinion isn't really a true smoked bbq flavor. It kind of reminds of the chain place down the street if you know who I mean. They have a good selection of sides and their desserts are great to help with that sweet tooth craving. Always a busy place but food is worth the wait. Staff is pleasant even in the busiest situation. They are a cash or check only so be prepared prices are reasonable and plates are full.

Best bacon cheeseburger I've ever had in a restaurant. Hand pattied. Country potatoes were a perfect pairing. The tea comes in a quart Ball jar, good cold. We got the white beans cornbread (the Hobo), too. Yum. Carry cash, it's a no card joint, but with everything the 2 of us got it was right at $25. Worth the drive.

I finally made it to Top Hog, to try out this food that everyone in America brags about! I must say, I was NOT disappointed! The sides were simply delish and had the best flavor! We did have to wait a little bit and there is not a lot of room to be able to spread out. We did feel a bit rushed, because of how many people were standing on top of each other, waiting to be seated or pick up to-go orders. With that being said, there is a REASON why people are piled up everywhere...the food is worth it. Great service with smiles and their barbecue will melt in your mouth!
