"Emma's Steakhaus is a small fine restaurant and has been located in Hanau near Philippsruhe Castle for almost 2 years. Parking is a bit difficult because in this area residential parks are valid. There are a few tables and indoors for about 30 people outside. As the name already says, it's kulinaric about meat. There are 5 different steakcuts each in 2 sizes. But not only Rind can be found on the map Maishähnchen, Lamb and Kalb as well as Surf and Turf. These main dishes are surrounded by 6 appetizers and 4 desserts. The interior is dominated by oak light and dark wood, silver and green walls. There are 2 tables and 4 tables without tablecloths and all places are covered. Through the carved curtains and the rustic ceiling, it looks a bit natural, but also modern through the bar. Something disturbing I felt the wine refrigerator, which has not integrated well, as some corners have bumped onto the walls and the color is gone. Since the light is very dimmed, I found the stairway to the toilets somewhat too dark. It started after some stages of motion detectors, but he could do that a bit earlier. The music was pleasant from the volume and unobtrusive. The menu is a real wood clamping board with about 7 pages. The specimen I received was barely picked up yet, but the others who went to a pillar in the guest room looked very worn out. Here it would certainly not hurt to reprint the pages more often. For the ambience it would certainly be more beautiful if the door to the kitchen would not stand up constantly. But that's how you got something about what was going on in the kitchen. As this evening was little off (only 5-6 tables occupied) I immediately got the card and decided to use the following dishes: “Summer salad with balsamico honeydressing, watermelon, peach and cucumber strips with fried pluckers” at 8.50€ “Surf and Turf with 3 fried prawns, Portjus, Grill prawns As a drink I found a tomato juice on the map, since it was out I had to decide and had specific 0.2 to 3,50€ grotto from the kitchen The toys from the kitchen: fresh baguette with a cucumber yogurt dip has made pleasure for more. Summer salad with balsamico honeydressing, watermelon, peach and cucumber strips with fried pifferlings It followed the salad, which was very beautifully dressed. The salad was wonderfully marinated, the seedlings very well roasted and tasted. The fruit pieces and the fruit sauce on the plate floor were also nice. A very well-composed salad I would order at any time. Excellent and not a single criticism. Surf and Turf with 3 fried shrimps, Portweinjus, Grillgemüse and Steakhaus Fries, Filet 200g Through the open kitchen door you also got that despite the few guests fleissig was worked, what speaks for the fresh that arrived on the plates. Now my surf and turf arrived, where I had ordered the filet medium rare. It was a decent piece of meat that was a little bit too rare. I also suspect that it was not so hot roasted/grilled, as it was not very dark outside and when the gray proportion in the meat was very wide. But it was tender and very tasty, along with the Jus. The shrimps, were large pieces, well prepared and equally well roasted. The vegetables that consisted of paprika, zucchini, oyster mushrooms and carrots were cooked to the point and also very tasty – especially the oyster mushrooms were excellent. I missed the Steakhaus Fries instead I had Linguine with Pfifferlingen on the plate. Maybe I read myself studying the map, but after I tried the noodles there was no reason to complain. The noodles were a small tick too soft, but with the sauce in which they were aromatized very suitable to the dish. I already knew the piffer from the salad, but everyone here was again a pleasure. Since everything was very hot and dressed on preheated plates, it was an excellent and warm pleasure until the last bite. Crème Brûlée from vanilla with peach and sour cream limoneneis For dessert there were the Crème Brûlée stories with peach and the Sauerrahm limoneneis. Unfortunately, the layer of sugar was very quickly softened. Here it would be better to pass the Crème Brûlée separately. The missing crunch has not done any break to the taste at all. The components matched very well to each other, the sour cream ice cream, was certainly self-made came very aromatic and delicately melting therefore. The peach were beautifully ripe and the vanilla cream was also perfect from consistency and taste. Service The service (one person) was very attentive and offered pepper and salt to the appetizer and main dish and shortly after you started to ask for food if everything was okay. It was also paid attention to fineness, e.g. that the label of the beverages is oriented to the guest. And once again, the glass was almost empty, asking if I want to drink something else. Very attentive. Very good restaurant with only small weaknesses. The dishes are very good and freshly prepared, the individual components are well arranged and well tasted and matched. It's a bit high, but you get something for your money. I found the drinks too expensive. For a nice and delicious evening to two surely a very suitable location."
