"One of the best experiences I have ever had at a restaurant. The food was beyond expectations and the service was perfect. My girlfriend and I came in to celebrate a special day for the two of us. Whatever you do...get the fried green tomato and homemade pimento cheese appetizer. It is DELICIOUS. Filet mignon not cheap but melts in your mouth it's so tender. And using a historical building adds to the experience. Ask your waiter to tell you about it. Our waiter the first time we went told us all about it which we thought was awesome. Highly recommend going here!

A really special place. Very cool atmosphere an old livestock auction house combined with fantastic Southern Cuisine. The fried green tomatoes were a little heavy on the breading, but the spicy pimento cheese between each layer made each bite scrumptious. Then came the main event... I had the shrimp and grits and my husband went for the Asiago mushroom chicken. Both had so much taste it should be illegal. This chef knows something about building layers of flavor. I can't say more. The food is just ridiculously delicious. Go here. Eat here. This place belongs in Charleston. What the heck is it doing in Statesville?
