"I had a Wonton Soup for starter. It was alright but then there's little you can do to mess up a Wonton Soup, let's be honest. Then I had a fried rice, one of the recommendations of the restaurant. If a genuine Vietnamese -or any-...restaurant recommends a dish you'd expect the ingredients and cooking style to be genuine. They weren't. To my knowledge broccoli as we know does not grow in Vietnam, nor does German white cabbage. There's an excellent Chinese food store behind the corner, so it's not a big deal to get genuine Eastern ingredients to prepare your food. The glass of red Merlot tasted somewhat mouldy. Simply delicious. The sauces (that we ordered) tasted fresh and self made, due to use of regional vegetables a whole new experience was achieved. With that price point, truly satisfactory.
