"If I could give this restaurant zero stars, I would do so with absolutely no hesitation. Highly do not recommend. My boyfriend had this restaurant in mind after he came with his dad, aunt, and uncle for lunch. He wanted me to try it since he enjoyed it the first time he came. We arrived at 6:45 for our 7 pm reservation for a early Valentine's Day dinner and we were seated by a very nice hostess immediately. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxed, there was a nice bar, and even a fireplace. However, everything went downhill from the moment we were seated. Amazing options for dinner. The food was as close as you can get to being in Italy. Whether you are a vegetarian or a die hard pasta lover there is an amazing option for you. The evening started with a wonderful Cabernet from Dynamite Vineyards. Next, our party of 11 tried many things on the menu. We were not disappointed! Come here for an unforgettable evening!

The Villa seems to change their menu quite frequently. Right now, their menu is definitely not your typical Italian-American fare. Lots of seafood, duck, and lamb tending towards a more high brow audience. I had the lamb couscous which was excellent. My wife was less thrilled with the menu because it lacked the typical Italian meals containing Alfredo or Carbonara. I'm not sure how she survived in Italy! My wife just pointed out that they might not be considered Italian anymore. They have two incidentals of note: the tomato basil bisque soup is fantastic, and the feta dressing is really good.

I met a friend of mine here as she was in town from the east coast and staying in Colorado Spring, while I live up near Denver. We decided to meet here because it looked like the Villa had good reviews and probably a nice ambiance. The place is super cute, the patio is lovely. The wine selection is very nice. Our waitress was personable... for some maybe too personable too personal with stories, but I thought she was cute and kind of funny. She raved about the bread and the dipping sauce which I honestly didn't love. It wasn't bad, but just not very flavorful (bread) and the dipping sauce had an odd combo of ingredients that didn't sit right on my palate. I thought my friend was enjoying her...

"Food was really good. I had the stuffed salmon and others had steak and chicken Marsala. Cocktails and desserts were also good. Love the gluten free options!!! I put noise higher because upstairs is small quarters and we could hear all of neighbors conversation, but they were also loud talkers. The best part was our waiter, Jeff! He was fantastic, very attentive, and funny. I’d definitely recommend this place to friends."

"Very disappointed with the establishment. We had high hopes, the reviews were all great, and every time we drive by the place is packed. Came on a Saturday night, around 10p. 4 people in our group. Sat ourselves, and after 10 minutes of sitting thought maybe we were supposed to be seated by someone. So we wait by the table by the front door for 4-5 minutes. The server who approached us told us to seat ourselves, so we went and sat at a different table than we did the first time. We sat there another 7-8 minutes with no greeting. Once our server came over, she gave us menus then ran off. Another 5-6 minutes go by and she asks what we want to drink, and if we are ready to order food. We go ahead and order both. Our appetizer comes out in less than 10 mins, that's great. About 10 minutes after that, our food comes out, that's also great. However, we have yet to receive any of our drinks. No waters, none of our bar drinks. I ask the guy that delivered our food if we could get some waters. About 6 minutes later, our server brings one person's drink (a pitcher of beer). Another 2-3 minutes, and we get the rest. My drink is wrong, but at this point I don't even care. Our checks were incorrect and had to be adjusted (price wise, not items). Overall food was 9/10, but service was so poor it ruined our night. The place had several open tables, and 3-4 servers, so there is no way things should have taken as long as they did. However, we will be trying this place again, in hopes we just had a bad experience."

"Kerri I have been regulars at La Rosa since Valentines Day 2013. We love this place, and it 's our favorite for weekend meals. Marina is a wonderful host, Melody is awesome, and everyone works hard to make sure your visit is memorable whether it 's your first time or 100th. Marina 's menu always has something new, but you can rely on trusted favorites (stacked enchiladas with an egg! every time. Red, green or mild, their homemade chile sauces are amazing. We always bring our friends and out-of-town relatives to this must visit Cantina in Palmer Lake. I 'm sure the desserts are great, but I 'm usually too full to have one. Great selection of tequila, by the way."

"I love this place...except during the summer when it slammed with tourists, but that's a first-world problem. My go-to breakfast is the Eggs Benedict Crepe with the potato wedge. I ordered it by accident the first time because I didn't see the crepe part. I'm not sure I will ever have anything else there for breakfast. It's an excellent balance of the sweetness of the crepe with the savory of the ham, and the great taste of sharp cheddar cheese with potatoes for the potato wedge. Actually it's making me hungry just thinking about it. They also have coffee from Serranos, which is nice. It's also a great place to hang out and have lunch outside this time of year before it gets too cold. Especially if you have time to have a beer with it and take a nap ."
