"Watermark Books Cafe has always been a 'go to ' local spot for my family. The cafe is phenomenal, the bookstore has an incredible assortment, and the staff is a joy and pleasure to work with. I called this morning inquiring of 'The Kissing Hand ' book for a friend that 's struggling with sleep training her little one. Amanda was quick to find me what I needed, made the extra effort to put the book and matching stuffed animal on hold, AND offered to gift wrap these treasures for an extra special touch. My favorite Wichita book store! The atmosphere, the staff and the books are all top notch. They've special ordered a book I wanted for me, and have always been so welcoming and helpful!

My husband has been coming here for years and I’ve come here a time or two for books or puzzles. We also really enjoy their cafe. Their selection and they often offer sessional selections. It’s such a lovely atmosphere and always so clean.

This book store is such a wonderful thing to have in my neighborhood. It's small, but not too small. Well stocked with a wide range of books; not just books that are now popular but classic titles and secondary titles. The staff is both knowledgeable and helpful. There is a small restaurant and espresso bar within it's four walls. Good coffee, great cinnamon rolls. Update: I went to a Wichita Book store to find a compilation called Wichita Murders by a local author. The clerk was at first confused, looked up the title and then said ‘We don’t carry that.’ Hmmmm? Four stars now

"we were thrilled to find a Peruvian restaurant in wichita. Gabby’s has a handful of American food for children and adults with less adventurous taste. my daughter had the Peruvian version of the bark stew. she is gf and df and was happy to find something she could eat. I had the cow-suction sandwich on a Ziabatta roller. my son had the fried pork sandwich and chips. I can't remember the official names of the courts, but all were delicious. this restaurant is worth tasting fresh, authentic Peruvian and South American cuisine."

"My friend and I went here for dinner before seeing play at Century II. We were able to park in the parking garage which was very handy. I ordered a pink paradise cocktail that was outstanding! it's a tart one made with raspberry lemon and I don't like mine too sweet. We shared the risotto ball appetizer which has some spicy sausage in the middle and was yummy and then the halibut entree which was very good also. afterwards we were able to walk a few blocks over to see the show. Worked out beautifully!"

"I brought my family to this restaurant yesterday and unfortunately, we were very disappointed. Despite being close to closing time, I don't think that's an excuse for the quality of our meals. My chicken sandwich was awful - it was cold, soggy, and the bread was hard. My fiancé couldn't even eat her sandwich because the bread was so tough. We ordered a children's pizza for our daughter, but she didn't like it at all and barely ate a single bite. We were so disappointed that my fiancé didn't even want us to stop somewhere else for food afterwards. I had hoped to give them a second chance, but after waking up feeling sick this morning, I had to leave a negative review. I don't think we will be returning to this restaurant, especially considering the $40 we spent."

"Review: Tokyo Japan Restaurant on West Street, Wichita, KSI recently dined at Tokyo Japan Restaurant on West Street in Wichita, KS, and I have mixed feelings about my experience. The restaurant offers a variety of Japanese cuisine, including sushi, soups, and steak, but there were some areas that fell short.Starting with the soup, it was served warm, but I found that it lacked some flavors that I was expecting. As someone who enjoys bold and rich flavors in soups, I was a bit disappointed with the taste.The sushi, on the other hand, was good despite falling apart. The presentation was visually appealing, and the taste was enjoyable. However, I did notice that some of the sushi rolls were not tightly rolled and tended to fall apart when picked up with chopsticks, which was a bit inconvenient.Moving on to the seating, I was seated in one of the booths, but I found that the seats were worn-out and uncomfortable. The cushions were flattened, and it detracted from the overall comfort of the dining experience.One highlight of the meal was the steak my wife ordered, which was cooked medium rare. She thoroughly enjoyed it and mentioned that it was cooked to perfection and had a wonderful flavor. This was one of the highlights of our meal.Unfortunately, the service was lacking in some areas.
