What's Shakin' - Étlap

I had a burger sand that and a "milk"shake that I was impressed to find (made with kokosmilch.) I wanted a macadamia nut taste, but since they did not have macadamia nut vegan ice cream, they compromised by the addition of real macadamia nuts in it. the light crunch was a nice note. I never remember a time to find a vegan milkshake in a restaurant. I will definitely have to go back to my next visit on the big island and decide on the same lunch I really enjoyed or try something new.

The food at this restaurant is good but not fancy. We tried hot dogs, which were average according to three out of the five people in our group. The wraps, one with avocado and one with Ono fish, were tasty but could have used more salt/seasoning. The lemonade with honey had a strong honey flavor but lacked lemon. The smoothies were tasty but mostly tasted like banana (my "papaya" smoothie had no noticeable papaya flavor). The staff was friendly, and we even saw a gecko outside the bathroom. The restaurant is set in beautiful surroundings.

I can't stop thinking about the delicious ono fish wrap, mango smoothie, and ube shake I had at What’s Shakin two weeks ago. I have visited this restaurant multiple times and each time it exceeds my expectations. The staff is friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere is fantastic with the best playlist, and the food is absolutely amazing. The flavors were so bold and refreshing, it made me excited with every bite. My husband even captured a photo to prove how good it was. The prices are reasonable and the quality of the food is exceptional. Whether you are coming from Donkey's Path, the botanical gardens, or Akaka Falls, this place is definitely worth a visit.
