"A while back, I was talking to my friend Hungry over at Tasty Eating about food in Flushing… and ice cream at Eddie's . She mentioned how she'd actually never been to the food stalls, and also how she wanted to try Eddie's, so we made plans to do a whole walkaround from Flushing to Eddie's. Are we insane? A little bit. It was awesome, and we happened to pick a day that was excellent in terms of weather not hot, and just a slight bit of cold (windy, really), so as we walked and warmed up, we never got too hot. It is apparent that in the distant (or not so? past, there used to be ice cream served at this location, as the awning still fadedly reads White Bear Ice Cream Yogurt. Inside though, the menu only lists delicious wonton, noodle, and rice dishes, and it

Take-out only. Got the #6 that everyone recommends, which are the soup-less wontons with chili oil. Currently $9 for 12 wontons, cash-only. I got my order quickly and the wontons were hot and fresh, and the portion filling, but I found the flavor to be too salty and not spicy. I thought they’d be spicy given the chili oil and naming, but it was mostly just salt and oil. Therefore docking one star because it didn’t really live up to the description. Since there is no indoor or outdoor seating, I recommend you go to the small park nearby or one of the communal food courts on Roosevelt.
