"My family and I are frequent to Yougu. This time however, we went for a birthday party and we were very disappointed with the service. My kids' drinks came out late and watered down. Our sushi came out right before we were about to leave as we were packing up our habachi. We ordered our sushi 1st thing, by the way. Our waiter had a very hard time understanding the orders, food allergies and the fact that I was there with my jamaican family while an Caucasian family, that we made new friends with, was there as well and we explained how I'm paying for my family and they will pay for their family. Bill still came out with all on one bill versus two bills. Very unsatisfied. To make things worse...

Overall just excellent consistent sushi! I highly recommend everyone to try this place!

It was empty at 2 pm when I went. I sat at the sushi bar. The employees were friendly, but the sushi bar was more like a storage room than ready for guests. I assume not many people sit there. The food was good. It's not the best sushi in CT, but it is acceptable for a quick sushi lunch. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2

"It's a great place for good pizza and the owner is known to go out of way to make sure you have a good time there. He let us use his restaurant area when he is normally closed, for a Boy Scout Eagle ceremony, since we were locked out of the town rec center that was reserved for us. Pete is a great guy too he supports many town groups."

"My sister and I returned from New Hampshire by chance, Valentine's Day. She suggested we dine at Vespucci where she had eaten several times, and I was all about trying a place I had never eaten before. The hostess welcomed us and asked if we had reservations. I thought a strange question as it was a Tuesday, and they didn't seem very busy. It never happened to me that it was Valentine's Day. She put us in a nice stand. At first glance at the menu I immediately noticed a special baked healing butter with lobster sauce and lobster meat, with baby asparagus and lubricated sweet potatoes. That sold it! I have never seen the rest of the menu, except to see what appetizers and soups they offer. My sister had decided to have a little veggie pizza. We had a sequence of roasted Calamari, which was very slightly baked, and cooked for perfection, with a beautiful Marinara sauce. I chose a bowl of chicken tortellini soup that had a broth with a lot of taste without being too salty, and many fresh carrots, celery, and beautiful chickens and some tortellini. Excellent soup! When my main dish was served, I was pleasantly surprised both by the great size of the part of the heald butter and by the great amount of lobster meat. I can only describe the perfectly boiled, moist and fluffy heal butt and accompanying lobster as heavenly. The asparagus I don't usually have been a big fan of was both tender and not tender as it can often be. I swallowed it with the halibut and lobster meat. I'm not a fan of sweet potatoes, but I've tried them. They were well prepared, with a house made waffle potato chip put into the stack, which is a very beautiful presentation. My sister described her little, 12 pizzas as lovely. It looked as good as she described, although I was too full to taste it. Service was very fast, friendly and professional. I'm really glad my sister Vespucci's proposed, and since it's only a few kilometers from where I live, I definitely look back."
