"This place is a hidden gem in Southaven! The food is fresh and definitely cooked to order. It was a date night for hubby and I, so we went to our favorite little cozy Japanese restaurant. Service is always on point! Hostess seated us quickly upon arrival. We ordered the calamari as an appetizer. It was different from what I am accustomed to, but was good. It came out looking like onion rings with hoisin glaze on top with a slightly spicy sauce on the side. I ordered the Veggie Udon Hibachi which was very flavorful. However, the texture of the Udon noodle was a bit to thick for my liking. Will ask for a different type of noodle the next time we visit. The husband ordered the Hibachi Steak and Chicken. He said it was excellent. To top it off they give complimentary pineapple at the end of the meal. Best tasting pineapple this side of the MS. This place is awesome!!!! To the HANGRY (hungry &angry) PEOPLE....Now there was a little bit of a wait for our food, but it was worth it. Please be patient and courteous to the staff if you decide to visit."

"It orders and looks like a fast food joint, yet the food is like a restaurant, only better. I had a burrito and it was delicious and, as you can see from the picture, huge. There is also a well stocked bar with four drat beers, pretty good for a small Mexican restaurant. I would definitely eat here again."

"Came and ordered takeout. I was excited to try here based on good reviews. Ordered my good and it came out quickly. I double checked everything when in my car while driving off and I noticed I had the wrong order. Turned around and went back in. The girl at the counter seemed annoyed by me coming back. They gave me another person's order. She just kind of dropped my correct order on the counter and walked off. Service was a serious meh. Food likewise, a bit bland and lacking flavor. It is cheap though, so good price."

"The food was fantastic; I only wish I had taken more pictures! I do have a photo of the shrimp dish my son ordered, and he devoured every bite. Most meals come in a pocket, which I was initially unsure about, but it turned out to be delicious. Plus, diners can choose their preferred spice level and heat for all seafood options. On Wednesday and Thursday evenings, they feature live bands, and last night's performance was fantastic. My family and I will definitely be returning, and I highly recommend giving Red Pier a try!"
