"I've eaten here 3 times in 3 days sadly I only have 1 picture though because I've been devouring it without thinking but luckily I got a togo order today and decided to snap a pic. I've had the chicken and waffles 10/10 so good seriously cannot recommend them enough. Catfish (Friday only) 10/10 first time trying sides I got mac and cheese, and okra it was delicious so delicious in fact I ordered Mac and Cheese again the next day. Rib Dinner (Saturday only) 20/10 the best ribs in Amarillo I know everyone has their favorites this is texas after all but these were by far and away the best ribs I've had in Amarillo I also tried the baked beans which were very tasty but the ribs and the homemade BBQ sauce was like died and gone to heaven delicious."

"If you love down home cooking breakfast kind of places like we do, this is your place. We were originally going to go to Brent’s Cafe, but they were closed, and we happily stumbled upon this place. The place was packed. Don’t judge the parking lot fullness by your wait time. The parking lot was full when we went and we only had 5 minute wait before we got our table. The waitress was so friendly. Everything came out delicious, hot, and with a smile. We enjoyed the hot chocolate, western omelette, chocolate chip pancakes, and biscuits and gravy. We’d stop here again in a heartbeat."

"I just ate here with my 2 years old. we dropped the half of his children's nuggets on the floor while we dinning and we are ready to go and he was still hungry. So I went to buy more and they wouldn't let me pay for them! I tried a few times, but the manager refused and just gave us more. that was so thoughtful and sweet! thank you for always going the best almost food place all the time! had never had a bad experience in a Chilk-fil-a!"

"terrible service! the waitresses were rude and the manager was arrogant and unprofessional. all the tables had a reserved sign. When we arrived, we saw ourselves as annoying and said they had to free us a table. I was told that the personal used the tables for their needs, but in reality wanted to avoid the personal cleaning tables so that they all come in the direction of a crowded opposite. we asked a table that was not close to the toilet room, and the waitress refused very rudely. I spoke to the manager, she argued with me about how that is how they do and it is their rules. they sit people where they find it comfortable, and not where the customer wants to sit. in the ground dictates the personal where they sit, whether they like it or not. lest it be a wonder that this place is almost always empty. the owner must hire formed employees who are formed in business ethics and service. so we went to jorge’s; the service was wonderful, and the food was so good. much better choice."

"While my children love Chick-Fil-A, this is the second time that I have come in the last few months and I have waited FOREVER in the drive through life, what is the point of ordering ahead when we still have to wait for? This time I ordered a Nugget meal over 25 minutes, the last time I ordered three different meals and ended sending my older child with the younger two to use the bathroom because we sat for so long. I understand this place is always busy, but wait 20 minutes for some nuggets it's a little much. We're not coming back until I hear it or see it."

"“Absolutely divine” is what we all said after our experience the other night! You can tell the owners care very much about their restaurant, as they came and checked on our table throughout the evening. Our server was extremely attentive and very helpful with food descriptions. The menu is limited, but two people in our party only eat fish (no meat) and there were three specials to choose from, and one entrée on the permanent menu. Three of us ordered an absolutely mouthwatering appetizer made of scallops and mushrooms in a curry sauce that was to die for. Accompanied by salads and delicious house made cocktails, we were in heaven! One person in our party is extremely picky when it comes to her fillet mignon, and she said it was absolutely the best. Another person in our party ordered a special of snapper on a bed of quinoa with broccoli rabe and she raved. Our party shared tiramisu for dessert and it was SO DELICIOUS. The lighting/ambiance was perfect and they had live music. We enjoyed the fact that the music wasn’t so loud we had to scream at each other, which is very common at a few other local “fancy” restaurants. What a special spot to spend an evening. Yes, this is a high-end restaurant with top-quality food. You get what you pay for. If you want a ribeye with a baked potato and 14 sides for $15, go to the Big Texan. If you want quality food made with attention and a discerning palate, go here. Metropolitan is by far the TOP-of-the-list high end establishment in Amarillo. We will definitely be back! "the chili verde sushi roll is probably the best sushi vegan option in amarillo. it's so good! my favorite entree is probably the hot and spicy with tofu. it is a baptism of difference sweet and tofu with spicy chili garlauch paste and rice. the spicy edamame and fried tofu are really good starters. they can get the “orange chicken” dish with tofu and this is also really good! whatever dish they order just say they want it vegan and they will join them."

"We absolutely loved our dinner at OHMS. We were visiting Amarillo for a couple of days and staying at the Barfield downtown. I researched dinner spots and this place seemed to be the best choice. It was exactly the right choice. I called about two weeks ahead and was able to get reservations at the time we wanted. We started with cocktails. They were both good but the bourbon old fashioned was better than the gin cocktail. And the old fashioned here was better than a similar drink at the Paramount Recreation Club next door, the Speakeasy in the basement of the Barfield that you gain entry by buying Paramount cigarettes from an antique machine (suddenly the door behind you opens and voila you 're in). Back to the main story... For appetizer we shared a special of the night, the crab cakes. They were perfectly seared and they were bursting with crabmeat. Spiced just right. And the accompanying sauce, we wanted to lick the plate clean. They were really good. For the mains, one of us had Elk and the other had Chicken. The Elk, recommended medium rare, was oh so tender and moist. The local mushrooms that accompanied were worthy of their own dish. The risotto at the bottom was also good. Unfortunately the photo doesn 't show a dish as delicious as it was. We were surprised a little that the Elk wasn 't more gamey tasting. It 's not a bad thing, just was a surprise. The chicken was also outstanding. Crunchy and moist. The asparagus was firm but tender, and the mashed potatoes were excellent. I must say it could have used a little more gravy as all that gravy was gone a bit before the chicken was. But then i am a sauce guy. No room for dessert. Would love to visit for dinner again! "My fiancée and I ate here for a Saturday night party. Waiting, especially for a dinner rush, was very short. Barely was there for 5 to 10 minutes and sat. We started with some good chips, salsa with a cup of Queso. For dinner I had the Shrimp Cancun (which is a new menu item, so definitely try it) and Fajita Enchilada. The food was really delicious. This is the second time I tried the cancun, except this time I tried the shrimps. It is a very large part, so don't feel bad if you don't eat anything. I definitely recommend coming to Jorge and definitely recommend eating with a good beer on a Saturday evening with a lot of football matches immediately. The staff was very friendly and very courteous."
