"After a long weekend of camping and hiking in the Birkhead Mountains Wilderness Area of the Uwharrie National Forest, this place was calling my name. Apparently this is a local hotspot in downtown Asheboro, NC. Upon entering this quirky establishment, I was greeted by a friendly hostess who directed me to the bar. It was really hopping for a Sunday evening, but the atmosphere was enjoyable and the friendly staff were very attentive. The owner of the place was actually bar tending which was kind of cool. He was somewhat quiet and reserved, but friendly. I ordered the Spicy Beef Nachos appetizer and the Philly Cheesesteak with fries. Both were good, but not spectacular. The nachos had hardly any beef on them which was a disappointment. They were very tasty though. The cheesesteak was just ok, and could have used some more cheese, peppers and onions. Overall, I enjoyed the experience, and I would recommend that you give it a try. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20"
