"Unfortunately, the younger staff members often seem disinterested in providing good customer service. Despite these issues, most of our visits have been pleasant if you can overlook the mess. However, I felt compelled to write a review after today’s experience. The outside area was particularly littered, and the entrance was in a terrible state. Inside, the floor was slippery—likely due to the weather—but there were no warnings about it. When I arrived, a staff member seated me at a different table from our usual spot, explaining that they needed to keep some areas open for other customers coming in at that time. There was only one other couple present. After being seated and mentioning that I was expecting two companions, the staff member proceeded to seat a family of four without even asking if I would like coffee or anything else. I had to get her attention as she was attending to the family and ask for a cup of coffee. A few minutes later, a young man came to take drink orders from the family. I got up and approached the cashier area, where my waitress was preparing drinks for the family. She assured me she would be right over. At no point was she rude, but after delivering drinks to a table that had arrived after me, she finally brought my coffee. I also noticed that, at least ten minutes after my arrival, other customers were being seated at our usual table. When my friends showed up, she took our orders, but one friend commented on how long it was taking, even for simple senior citizen meals. When the food finally arrived, my two eggs over easy turned into one semi-over easy and one fried egg, with two dry sausage links and very burned hash browns, served on a regular plate. One friend's "build your own" order was on a very small dish, while the other order was acceptable. I was hesitant to return the food since my friends had to get to work, but I mentioned the issues when checking out. The supervisor was understanding and even offered to comp my breakfast, which I declined. I wasn't looking for a free meal; I just wanted someone to acknowledge the problems and take corrective action. I appreciate that Denny's is a 24-hour restaurant, and I’ve enjoyed dining there in various parts of the country. What troubles me the most is that this Denny's is conveniently located off the main freeway, especially during tourist season. I really don't want a free meal; I'm just looking for answers. I understand times are tough, but that shouldn't excuse cleanliness issues or a lack of customer service. I can't shake the thought that if this is the condition of the dining area, I can only wonder what the kitchen looks like. Thank you for your attention to this matter."

"we stopped by Wendy's to grab a couple of chicken burgers. our usual, Chick-fil-A was closed, since it's snowing like crazy out today. when we ordered our two numbers six meals, we weren't asked what type of beverage we wanted, and we were never asked what size we wanted. I asked about the beverage, and was able to at least choose what drinks we got, however, we were both given a small. turns out that was a blessing in disguise, because the fries are the oldest fries I've ever gotten from any fast food establishment. the burger was dry, and super old as well. at least the lemonade wasn't gross, though nearly $20 for two lemonades is a bit excessive. this'll be the last time I ever come to this Wendy's location."

"Super affordable bagels, pastries, coffee, and more! This is a great place to do some studying or work at, or just get a bagel to go! If you don't like too much cream cheese I would definitely suggest that you ask for it on the side.They offer a variety of gluten free, whole wheat, and low fat options, or you can definitely indulge in whatever your heart desires. The people that work there are very nice and efficient as well."

"The staff was friendly, however this is some of the worst food I ever had. It beats olive garden but I wouldn't call that an achievement. It's expensive as well. The rice is either overcooked and gummy or undercooked and crunchy, no in-between. Their pasta dish was mediocre at best. It all felt the food was taken out of a bag and placed in a convection oven to reheat.Stay away if you actually have taste."

"We traveled over five hours from Massachusetts to check out a local college and stayed overnight in Bangor. My nephew loves BWW and it was a great time to relax with him after a long day. The food was perfect and the wait staff was great. Highly recommended"

"Haven't been in awhile. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Great tasting food not overly seasoned. Our server had a trainee which was very pleasant. Quick delivery of food and server was very on the ball of what we ordered and making sure we were well taken care of. I would have taken pictures but I might have been past hungry and our server rushed a salad right out to help with my health, truly grateful."

"the taste indiens was already a past in bangor, and they always had a good meal. they have a lunch buffet with some vegetarian options (and in the usually at least one or two vegan options). for dinner they have a separate vegetarian section on their menu. Many of their menu elements have cream, so vegan should ask, hey don't want cream for some elements. their samosas and chana masala are quite tasty and one of my favorite things to come here. lately they have offered to make dishes spicier, which is so wonderful for people like me who like to eat on the sizier side. the atmosphere in the taste of india is not super fantasies, but so I would not recommend for a beautiful evening. it is more of a low key place or a good place to lunch or go out."

"fast. extremely affordable. super enthusiastic windows / front counter type and I mean that on the best way possible! For the first time, the customers went through the menu and the available options. I had the pulled gay, very good! my man enjoyed his chicken sandwich. were all very good and I liked the mac n cheese and I am not at all a mac n cheese fan. really good to earth mood, comfortable atmosphere. we plan to return as often as possible when in the opposite, as much better than any of the fast food at each corner."

"Absolutely a MUST in Maine! We found ourselves thinking of errands we could do in order to justify the hour drive!! We ended up getting in as many visits as we could before our return south! "In the area visiting with our grandson, the restaurant was recommended to us. Not far from the Residence Inn down the street. Plenty of parking in the rear of the building. Entrance was odd with banquet space when you come through the door and restaurant entrance towards the back of the building. Table for 5 with one being a 5 year old, we were seated at a high top table close to the bar. Our waitress was friendly and personable. First round of drinks came with in 15 minutes and food approximately 25 minutes after ordering. There were three, yes THREE functions going on while the restaurant was also working. Kudos to the kitchen staff for keeping things timed well. I ordered the Shepherds pie, which was so large I had to bring more then half home! Same with my grandsons Mac and Cheese. Chicken Marsala, Fried Clams, and Brooke fish were also ordered and very much enjoyed. Price was good over all. Would come back if ever in the area again!"

"I grew up eating here and it was always great. After moving away for 5 years, I found myself craving certain things off the menu and it soon became my comfort food place. I love the catfish sandwich and the fries. The piece of catfish in this sandwich was absolutely huge. Always good, the pretzel bun is amazing. When you think Bangor, you don't think outstanding food, but this is the exception. Service is always top notch. Take out or dine in, this is one of my favorite places, time and time again. Such a great bang for the buck too. I don't know of a better value. Recently came here for lunch with my grandma and we both had a great time."

"Aesthetics is everything you want in a restaurant, it is a beautiful room. However, no thought about acoustics was given. It sounds like a middle school cafeteria. I will not complain about the service, because every restaurant is short occupied and does its best. I had no seafood, so based on the other reviews, that could be the way. The buffalo chicken dive was delicious. Steak is terrible, it looks like they bought it from Walmart in the negotiating department. The Enchiladas were mushy and bland. The burger had no pleasure. You better go to Applebee to be honest, not to mention that Blaze is right above the street and knocks it out of the park every time you are there."

"This used to be my favorite place to go, but lately the experience has become unreliable, which is especially bad considering the price. The burgers are often quite dry now, and sometimes the fries are gr at, but others they are soggy, overcooked, or cold. Unfortunately it has not just been this location either, as I've had trouble with the others in Maine too. Hopefully it's just staffing issues and will be resolved eventually, but unfortunately I've had to cut back. They are just too much money to usually end up with a mediocre meal at best."

"There are two things that are just broadly wrong with this place: 1. Lots of frozen and artificial ingredients, such as frozen french fries and hash browns, not to mention fake maple syrup unless you pay $2.50 extra for the luxury of not being served trashy high fructose corn syrup with your pancakes—just insulting. 2. The service is among the most shoddy and demeaning I've ever encountered, and you can see just how many places I've visited around the country. After placing my BASIC breakfast order of eggs, frozen potato product and what I'm sure was also reheated meat, I was left sitting for 45 MINUTES without so much as a check-in, a hello, or even a glance from my waitress. I was sitting alone; I was hungry; my water was running low and I was waiting for any suggestion that my food was coming at any point in time. It's fine that the restaurant was busy so my food might take a while; however it is utterly unacceptable to keep someone waiting for almost an hour with no information or check-in from the waitress whatsoever. After 45 minutes I walked out of this poor imitation of a food service business and had breakfast at McDonald's. The wait staff at Dysart's is in desperate need of some training in common sense and manners, though I suppose their target audience is a predominantly college crowd that doesn't know any better when it comes to quality food or service. Just stay away."

"I LOVE this place! The staff are great, the environment is awesome and I love playing trivia on the tv screens! The food is delicious as well. I always get the veggie burger with no aioli and the black bean chili with no cheese. The service is always super great and with a smile. I am here pretty often and I am yet to have an experience anything less than awesome."

"I placed my order in advance and went to pick it up, but encountered some issues. I arrived late because I work overnight and the restaurant closed early. I tried to communicate through the drive-thru speaker, but received no response. I then went to the pick-up window and knocked, but was rudely told that they were closed. I could see my bag of food sitting on the counter, which was supposed to be my dinner for work. This was a negative experience, and unfortunately, I have had several instances where my orders were incorrect or items were missing when preordering."

"I have only had food delivered which speaks volumes concerning their quality care. Their 'Detroit Pizza ' is advertised as 'limited time, ' I do HOPE ASK they keep this indefinitely! It is fabulous! It 's in between a Foccia Pizza dough, both airy slightly dense. The sauce actually has FLAVOR unlike so many pizzas I 've tried elsewhere. Their toppings are very high quality if not the highest. I love their French Onion Soup, though I would prefer a slice of their quality bread rather than croutons. Excellent food!!!"

"I love coming to this restaurant both before and after work. Whether it's early in the morning for a morning shift or late at night after a tough day, I always find comfort in eating their McNuggets to soothe my soul. The extended hours are convenient, and the place is well-maintained. Compared to other McDonald's locations, there are no significant flaws here. Yes, I highly recommend it."

"Prices are pretty high for food that 's kinda mid. The Cashew dish was good, mango curry tasted good but was quite loose. The dumplings tasted like absolutely nothing, as it was just a chunk of dry pork meat in a wonton wrapper, no other ingredients to be found inside. The Rangoons are expensive as hell, because they use real crab meat but sifting through them, there was maybe 2 or 3 little shreds of meat. Way too much curry in the mix. Even if there was crab in it, you wouldn 't be able to taste it. I 'd go back for the Kiss Me Cashew, but that 's it. The rest was pretty disappointing, especially considering how much everything cost."
