"I put in an application and was approved to adopt a kitten, Dorothy, by Alexis Dexter, the owner so I made an adoption appointment with her and was told I would need to fill out some more paperwork and then I could take her home that day. She said I had to wait a day for the kitten recover from getting spayed. Her spay appointment was July 29th, so she said to come July 1st at 5:30pm, after hours. I have everything set up in my house for this kitten, because I was told I was going to get her. The set meeting time came, had it on my calendar since I spoke to Alexis and I was stood up and was told to call today to reschedule. Come to find out she approved someone else too and didn’t tell me when I called the first time to see if she approved my application, which she said she did. She said I must’ve spoke to someone else when I most definitely didn’t. I’ve been speaking directly to Alexis every phone call. So disappointed and upset. Don’t get your hopes up to adopt a kitten here, they might give them to someone else."
