"I made a reservation online about a week in advance for a table for two. The restaurant was about 30% occupied when we arrived at 5:30. One side of the restaurant was completely empty, with one table set for two and five other tables set for four. The waiter tried to seat us at a table set for four which was next to the bar, next to the host's station and in the path of traffic. In the corner, we could see the empty table set for two. Intended for us until the waiter sized us up and decided we wouldn't generate a good enough tip because we were senior citizens. When I asked if we could be seated at the table set for two in the corner, I was told that wasn't our table. Even though we had reservations, and no other customers were being seated at that time. We walked out and had a pleasant dinner someplace where our patronage was valued. Thyme X Table used to be our favorite restaurant, but we won't be back."
