"The Italians have a word, Abbondanza. It means fullness. You'll find it on Hahn at Jo Jo's. From the good vibrations from management and servers to taste and portion size, everything is designed to exceed your expectations. Without being snobic, I have lived in Italy for many years, so I can be a hard case when it comes to my preferences. And every Italian chef has his preparation method, so it can sometimes be a fight of will. In many restaurants where the predominant setting is, this is the way we do it, so fuggetabout it. It was a pleasant encounter to find that they were interested in what I wanted. The cook, Vinnie Carrino, made a visit to my table to make sure he underestimates the way I wanted to prepare a dish. You don't see that in most places. I also saw the owners make the rounds in the room to check on Diners and hear their comments. That's extraordinary. All my party enjoyed their selection and found the portions very generous. Some comments have found that prices were higher, but given the size, I would say it was appropriate. Now this is just my first trip and there was enough to tempt me to try the other offers. The place fills up quickly, so you have to believe that they offer a quality experience. As they react to customer suggestions, I hope that we will see regular supplements or specials that are not offered in the course of mill joints such as Pasta fagole or Festival of 7 fishes on holidays. Now this would be extraordinary!!!!"

"Stopped in as I was traveling through and I can honestly say I am impressed. I thought their service was friendly, polite and quick. The restaurant is bright and colorful, it feels festive without trying too hard. My order was great. The Mexican tacos were tasty. The asada was tender, but could have used a little stronger flavor. It was good, and that's my harshest critique. The carnitas were perfect. Such a bold taste, tender and precisely what pork carnitas should be. Presentation was great, and I have a preference to having cilantro and onions in a dish to add myself, no complaints because they hit good harmony in how they did it. The salsa Verde was nice a little bite and one that fits American taste. I bet they have one in reserve for those brave. Main coursewas the bean burrito. The plating was wonderful everything was absolutely the way I would prefer a burrito to be served. The case of Blanco was really good and if the refried brains are not homemade then they've got a good Secret because they tasted the part of good homemade refried beans. It's not easy to tell a difference but there is a difference between stuff that is made in house and the stuff that you would just get out of a can. The rice was incredibly flavorful and a bit understated but that didn't hurt it in the least bit sometimes Mexican rice when it comes with out some sort of vegetables mixed into it doesn't necessarily carry the flavor that it could but that rice didn't need much of any extra help. The salsa and chips were really good too. I would totally recommend this restaurant to anybody I think it absolutely knocks what it does out of the ballpark."
