"It was good, but the chicken was really rubbery and fatty. Also, we called to make sure the dish came with rice, the man said it did. But when we came home, there was no rice. So we had to make our own and by the time it was done, the food was cold."

The gentleman was very kind and friendly, despite my complicated order. His personality even made my day better over the phone! When I arrived to pick up my food, the women behind the counter were so very sweet and welcoming. My food was HOT and ready on time. I’m a big fan of Jamaican food and the flavor, textures, and aromas of Green Island food was superb. I was beyond impressed with the entirety of my experience. I greatly look forward to my next meal here!! I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant among many in the greater Danbury area! You will not be disappointed!"

"Went for brunch with a large group and found the place was packed. We had a reservation and were seated immediately. All the tables were very close together and the staff had some difficulty getting between people. Food was excellent as were the drinks. Service was very slow, we were often left waiting for refills. Food came out to part of the table and took 15min for the rest to come out. Overall, the food is excellent, staff were very friendly, we just happened to get slow service. I'd still go back just likely when it's less busy."

"I can't say enough positive things about John's Pizza. We had the house salad and a large pizza. The food was incredible. True NY style pizza fresh and very flavorful. But even better than the food (which was amazing) was the owner. He knows the meaning of the words customer service. He went above and beyond to give us a great experience. He's extremely personable and a delight to talk to. If I were a local, this would be my go to pizza place."

"Putnam House is FANTASTIC! I experienced the Putnam house as a child and immediately loved the atmosphere. As an adult he went back and still loved it! The food is incredible!, Everything on the menu is delicious. This is the first restaurant that I took my 7 years old in the time when she ate her whole meal, which was the Steak Tips! Staff and owners are so personal, they immediately make you feel as if you entered into their house and they cannot wait to feed you. Not to mention 2020? ve has me planning through some pretty stressful pandemic meals! What I was able to feed my family a whole week at such a reasonable price! Thank you, Putnam House!"

"This place is a historical repulsion to the 50's car hit you see in the movies, even the tradition of serving you in your car if you want (but the roller skates are gone! . Small stands are inside, decorated with memories from the last century like pay phones and old gas pumps! The menu (and recipes have not yet changed the same big dogs, burgers, shakes and frits with simple table, counter and cabin seat inside. Two remarkable must try items that burgers (the bottom steak patties made very thin and the root beer (the home is made from their decades-long original recipe). In the summer you will gather a variety of classic cars in the evenings and weekends, as the males experience their younger years again."

"My wife and I have been here recently. We sat graciously that no bookings were required. The service was good. The food was presented with torches and tasty, with the exception of spices used with my black Haddock, exaggerated the mild taste of this delicious fish. The noise level was quite high. "We had Notch8 cater an outdoor birthday party at our home for 40+ guests on 10/07/23. Despite challenging rainy conditions, they did a great job! In addition to bringing their portable pizza oven on wheels, we ordered a number of separate entres. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed individual custom pizzas along with all the other food. Wouldn't hesitate to use Tony and Notch8 again in the future."

"My wife and I like to go around and find unique restaurants not far from where we live. We happened on the note and wow we were lucky! "Fantastic! Two weekends in a row. Only disappointment was both visits I got the pig bell that is delicious, but my second visit to the part was much smaller. We are also disappointed to see that the pig earr was taken from the menu, that was so good. I'm coming back, but I'd probably try another menu for my meal. Loved our cocktails, hot chilli oil dumplings and the Tres Leches Dessert."

"great place in a favorable location on the route 6, along I-84 in bethel, connecticut. we stayed through happycow reviews and the owner was thrilled to serve us some vegan cuisine. he offered us either the “vegan combo” (green beans, hummus, kartoffeln, salat) or the “falafel combo” (falafel, hummus, tabouleh, salat.) we went with the falafel an amazing choice. the outside was light, fluffy and perfectly cooked. the inner was tasteful and delicious. super clean and delicious. they left us satisfied. the salate was massaged and perfectly dressed; super fresh and funny. romaine, spinat and other fruity green together with radishes, tweepers and tomatoes. the tabouleh was also incredibly fresh. the owner was friendly and hospitable, we appreciate being aware of veganism and the time he needed to be safe, our taste shops and needs. the baba ganoush is not vegan, he was very clear with us about this the best part about our visit was the hot spinat he pulled out of the many. we all tried one piece and agreed that it was the best we ever had. the teig was perfectly cooked, and the filling met the right notes for both of us. the spinach was tasteful with the perfect amount of lemon, olive and wobbles. this place should not be missed. they cook a nice eating with a lot of love and carefree. enjoys!"

"I was pleasantly surprised by this place. It looks like an old dive bar but it is so much more than that. It is not a large place but there is seating inside and a really nice area outside with great views of the delta. The food is great! We started with lumpia and we really enjoyed it. They also brought us warm bread with oil and balsamic vinegar and the balsamic was outstanding, super smooth and very flavorful. The soup of the day was lasagna soup. What is lasagna soup I had no idea until I had it here and it was delicious. I had ribeye steak oscar and I am usually hesitant to try this type of dish especially at a new place. I am really glad I ordered this. The steak was cooked perfectly and the crab was really fresh and cooked correctly. I could be wrong but the hollandaise sauce tasted like it was from scratch. My lovely wife had the steak and lobster with baked potato. Steak was medium rear exactly as we asked and the lobster was a good size and once again cooked perfectly. They have specials every day and we will definitely be going back. If you are looking for fine dining this isn't it but if you are looking for a fun place for cocktails and a really tasty dinner with wait staff that are really fun to interact with this is the place."

"For 7 years, the search for good and authentic Japanese food has been a mission. Most places I look at the menu and that's enough for me, it doesn't resemble Japanese food. Until I drove past this place. The name was giving away because it had no generic Japanese name, and further research taught me that this place was Japanese property. The first thing I noticed when entering was that here Japanese eat, a good sign for me. The waiter Shun-San is a local in Tokyo and it was a good opportunity to speak some Japanese. The menu was decent and the sushi wasn't too bad. The Tempura was fantastic. I would say it is something adapted for the local range, but if I want Japanese food, this is where I go to my fix, and it is the only place you should go also if you want to go near authentic Japanese foods. I didn't try the ramen dishes that I'm gonna be next time, and they've also been for heaven's sake."

"I'd give this place 100 stars if I could. Not only was the service stellar and made us feel super comfortable, but I'm pretty sure the chef was given a few Michelin stars!!! I'm southern bred and I'm picky about my chicken and waffles, and biscuits and gravy, and I was actually really surprised at the fact that this was the best chicken and waffle sandwich I'd had since I was a kid. The choza fries are top notch, the burgers are unreal, and the local beer selection is the cherry on top. I can't say enough good things about this place except we will be back. Regularly!!!"
