"Yuck. Everything has a weird taste, almost to the point we couldn’t eat it. Don’t order the piña colada. Too sweet with a weird aftertaste. The restaurant sits on top of their outdoor pool so be prepared to listen to kids screaming. We went on a busy weekend where all the restaurants were packedbut this one. It was dead. Now I know why. If you’re looking for a restaurant on Gull Lake, go to Mission Point at Madden’s which is just down the street. Or Bar Harbor on the north side of the lake. Edit: I just read the other reviews and I’m appalled by how Craguns responds to their guests. Looks like it’s everyone’s fault but there’s that they have bad service and bad food. Cragun’s: Are you disheartened that a former employee wrote a review or disheartened you received a bad review? I worked in marketing, not food services. Guests at your restaurant have the opportunity to share their honest opinions on Google reviews. Whether I worked at Cragun’s or not doesn’t disqualify me from providing an honest review that may help others find a good restaurant on Gull Lake. It’s wonderful to know your chef and staff worked really hard to deliver exceptional food and beverages all season long, but the fact remains your food and beverages were nearly inedible. It's also worth mentioning that there are several other reviews echoing similar concerns about the food. Instead of focusing on discrediting reviewers, perhaps allocating more time to enhancing the quality of your cuisine could be more beneficial. We didn't communicate our dissatisfaction with the staff because we recognized there wasn't anything they could do to change the taste of the food. Instead, we opted to share our experience through this review, as a means to provide feedback. You have my number, feel free to give me a call if you really want to “obtain more details or ways you can make this right.”"
