"I had the Franzi which is a schnitzel with cheese and sone vegatables and chips. The size and taste of the schitzel was oké, but that's it. Nothing special. The Hefe beer was nice and the coffee as desert, which comes from the café in the next building was nice too."

"we had the hamburger than beyond meat version and the vegan meatballs. the beverages beforehand, unfortunately, both had no carbonic acid. the dishes have been used for too long with over 30 minutes mm. if you want to offer vegan options in your burgerladen you need meat: •Good fleichalternative (beyond meat) •Veganer cheese •Vegane mayo and soßen allgm. only ketchup and mayo of heinz available •Veganes dressing for beilagen essig oil would have been enough, did not give up •Informed and wobbled personal hamburg you should at least ask if she would like to serve the non- vegan burger soße instead of the burger dan. "One of the reasons we return to the Harz and always Braunlage is that it is only an hours drive away to get good air and also to visit our favourite restaurant Jaspers. Again we stopped for a week and ate there 5 times !!! The 1 day we did not eat was because it was closed and the other we overslept ! As usual the food was cooked to perfection . Christian and team Jasper and double trouble always welcome us with a smile and address us by our first names which we appreciate as we are treated like friends and not just as paying guests like many restaurants. They even have time for a small chat although they are always busy and full."

"hearty dishes in a cozy atmosphere were more than pleasantly surprised by the recommendations (to avoid risk, with four people went to the “Old forest house” in the evening and were more than pleasantly surprised by what we found here not only culinary. the traditional house „Altes Forsthaus“ lies directly opposite the ice sports hall and is the oldest building of the brown location. it dates back to 1658 and has been under protection since 1958. the restaurant is very cozy and furnished with a lot of love for detail. looking for an exquisite gourmet cuisine here is sure to miss the place. but who loves a good/excellent German cuisine is here in the “Alten Forsthaus”. we have done our work with the refined preparations, so we have been pampered and we have not regretted to be here. very particularly delicious was for us, among other things the woodfallsrsteak (2nd piece from the varietal with sung in butter and bratkartoffeln and they hardly believe it for 11,90. we can also recommend the “Forsthaustöpfchen” on safe wise. all the ingredients have been fine tuned and perfectly matched. there was nothing for us to remember: for the price-performance ratio, the excellent and tasty eating, but especially for the excellent service (then patrik differently, there are clearly full five stars of us: and if we are to be close again, we will definitely come back."

"The food was good, the atmosphere was too loud for a restaurant, the service was very good. As I said, everything was fine, apart from very loud people who have no respect for other guests who have one of life pleasure food with good wine and good company. But the whole experience soon came to an abrupt standstill. I saw a mouse running over the restaurant floor. I informed the waiter and told them that they would like to come especially when it's cold outside? Later I went through the smoker area and saw mice drops. I paid the bill and went straight.. The waiters always get a tip from me as I know how hard they work for a pear. But in every restaurant inspected by health inspectors, it would immediately be closed as a serious health threat. "a rather unconventional restaurant that shares the kitchen and menu covers with neighboring mykonos. that probably explains also the pictures on the wall (many sea views, shops.) we have arrived and were asked to come back in minutes as all the tables were taken. Except. two large, who were reserved fortunately offered some of the guests their table as they had already finished and paid. the menu is extensive, but literally everything seems to be prepared in the stone oven, even pasta. the mixed salate we ordered was not entirely after the description, some ingredients were replaced without notice. the two most important courses we have ordered were cut at the same time, but with a few minutes in between. all in all, the treatment can be expected. Nevertheless we had fun and enjoyed our trout and omelette. oh, and the reserved tables were not used."

"pizza is very nice if you do not care about pizza, but there is not much to choose. there was a cold train along the wall (winter time) time before the first drink was offered: minutes. when the hectic waiter was called, he said: “Uno momento!”...but never returned. no new drinks were offered when the glasses were empty; no dessert was offered. Conclusion: eating was good, the restaurant looked good, but there was a design too much noise of hot air heating and loud music and very bad service of - only Italian speaking waiter."
