"I flew into Florida from Seattle to visit family whom I hadn’t seen in a while. It was my brother’s anniversary and I owed him a couple of favors so I wanted to find a nice place with good food that wouldn’t hurt my bank account too much. We all love seafood so Bonefish Grill was an obvious choice. No problem making a reservation. Upon arrival, I asked the hostess to tell our waiter to bring a desert with a candle to celebrate an anniversary. I wasn’t expecting a full dining room on a Monday night, and thought to myself, a full crowd is a good indication. I was right. From the moment we walked in, everything was near perfect. We had a comfortable table for the 5 of us, the host handled my mother’s handicap perfectly. Our waiter Mike greeted us promptly, explaining how the menu works for us first timers. I ordered a $5.00 Sauza Margarita to start the night. Delicious. For starters I ordered a caeser salad and my father the chowder. The dressing was excellent on the salad, so I forgave the lack of freshness of the romaine. The chowder was spicy, rich and delicious. Our entrees came without waiting too long. I had the fresh Ahi tuna with Asian Sauce. The tuna was of good quality and fresh. The sauce was ok, not a true freshly made Asian sauce. Sauces are an art and I did not expect a made to order sauce, but it was adequate. My brother ordred shrimp and filet mignon. The filet was overcooked and the waiter took care of it immediately, without hesitation. The second piece of filet was not only cooked perfectly, it was a thicker cut of meat, making my picky brother very happy. My mother ordered the crab cakes and she seemed quite happy with them. They had a little bite to them and were mostly crab with little filler. All the fish entrees were fresh, well prepared and delicious. We ordered dessert and I was happy to see they remembered the anniversary at our table by bringing a yummy chocolate brownie dessert with a candle. In addition, the waiter brought a box of chocolates as an anniversary gift. I was wowed by that. The service, ambiance, food quality and price will definitely bring me back to the Bonefish Grill. For the very picky epicurean snob, this chain restaurant may not be the place for you. But if you want a solid seafood restaurant that serves fresh fish, with a youthful, upbeat atmosphere, nice bar area, and won’t cost you an arm and a leg, Bonefish Grill is the perfect place."

"Friends invited me for lunch to try this small restaurant tucked away east of Boynton Beach City Hall with its own parking lot out front on the southside of Boynton Beach Boulevard . Run by two separate chefs the menus migrate between the chefs signature dishes. The day 's rain did not allow us to consider the outdoor tables under bright umbrellas. Indoors there are tables for 2 to 4 seats for 28 diners. Small and personal. The menu on a clipboard greeted us at our places. Short but interesting choices. Soup of the day was chicken with arugula and sausage -had to try that. There were three salads and five sandwiches. Vegans rejoice there were choices. I was attracted to the Shrimp with avocado and bacon on fresh croissant. That caught my eye over the chicken pesto in a baguette. Each came with a side. I chose the very tasty and surprising green beans and grape tomatoes with balsamic vinegar dressing. The others opted for their favorite of a cold chunky red potato salad with a creamy dressing I got a spoonful and liked it but the potato glycemic load distracted me back to my green beans! My croissant came stuffed with large shrimps lightly sauced with seasoning, avocado and bacon., The croissant was crunchy fresh and made a great lunch. I ate every green bean with its unique smoky and signature dressing. I also sampled the chicken pesto sandwich chosen on a croissant by the other diner. It was too large to open my mouth to bite , so a slice was handed across to enjoy. The blended ingredients were rich and original. I sought the fresh brewed ice tea which was dark and accompanied my lunch well. No desert was needed or ordered. As this café is offered by a non profit agency for care of elders in Boynton Beach the price carries some contribution to the works of Community Caring Center of Palm Beach. Our lunches cost less than $15 each with each at our table satisfied with the well presented food"

"Traveling throughout the USA, eating at any kind of “all-you-can-eat” restaurant is spotty at best. Typically the food is mushy, barely edible, not very fresh, and the taste leaves the pallet empty. Not to mention a lack of cleanliness and plastic diner décor. But wait! The Ginza Japanese Buffet offers fresh Sushi, hot Chinese dishes, fresh seafood and Hibachi that rivals the taste and décor of upscale fancy restaurants. And the service is plentiful, friendly, and quick. The prices are reasonable, especially the lunch buffet where locals come to enjoy a quick business lunch or a friendly family meal. The dining room is well decorated, clean and has a nice ambiance and is not too loud. What a find! The sushi bar is extremely fresh, with a wide range of rolls and sushi/sashimi made on the spot by the many ever-present master sushi chefs right behind the counter. The fresh cool salad bar includes lettuce with a delicious ginger dressing, raw squid salad, edamame, spicy seaweed cucumber, rice noodles, and many more. There is also a fresh seafood bar with lobster salad, oysters, mussels, shrimp, and Snow Crab, and a fruit bar with various melons and other fruit. For the more traditional dishes, Ginza offers a hot bar with a good selection of tempura dishes (the calamari rings are to die for! , Chinese dishes, and wonderful sautéed vegetables in delicious sauces. There is also a Hibachi grill where the chefs will cook on-the-spot any items that you choose from a wide selection of fresh meats, seafood and veggies. Is that enough? Not hardly! The ice cream and desert bar offers a wide selection of self-serve ice-cream flavors, petite cakes, cream puffs, brownies, almond cookies, fruit and more! Overall, there is something for every taste and even finicky eaters will get their fill at the wonderful Ginza Buffet! Highly recommended!"
