"Take the ribeye off the menu, worst steak I've had in years, maybe because I ordered medium rare and it was served medium well. Service was extremely slow. I don't often leave reviews, but this was not a good experience. Soccer game on was to loud, and I'm hard of hearing and was watching the game. The floors and restrooms were dirty. Not the best sports bar in Broussard much less America."

"When you go to a restaurant and there are plenty of local people's there, you know you're in the right place. We were able to park easily in the reasonably well-lit parking lot. There was plenty of seating for us. Several other patrons had platters of crayfish that looked delicious. We got a tender sirloin that tasted as good as it looked, plus gator bites and crawfish egg rolls."

"Delicious drink and food. Extremely friendly bartender and waitstaff made for a really nice experience. The portions were smaller than I remembered, but were quite adequate. The grilled oysters were flavorful, but could have had more sauce on them for dipping. The stuffed flounder fillet was so fresh and laden with a crab stuffed filling. My wife’s crab platter was outstanding! So many flavorful takes on crabmeat: from crab salad and gumbo to crabmeat etoufee and crabmeat imperial. Don’t miss out on this traditional Lafayette seafood experience! AND they have catered take out orders ready for purchase as well!"

"They had 1 job. Apparently, I was informed they hire anyone, after I inquired if they hired Illiterate people who don't know how to follow simple instructions, so, huge fail for McDonald's, huge! And the manager, never took my name, said they hire anyone, so I told her, they either need to properly retrain their crew, how to properly make the burgers and to read the orders correctly."

"Miss Madero, Nora, and Jenny were awesome. My son and I got the grilled shrimp, wraps and onion rings. These are the best wraps, and the best onion rings I have ever had. We usually go every Saturday to eat lunch somewhere in town. We will be returning here frequently and the amount of food you get is worth it. The price is a great and the service and food excellent. "To me this was just average sushi. I like raw rolls and so I got 2 different ones. The Gyoza, Salad, and Miso were all delightful. The sushi wasn't awful just not good enough for me to ever have again. I don't enjoy fake crab meat at all...a lot of the rolls contain that, even the raws ones. I'm sure you could ask for it to be removed or subbed. I will say this they get 3 stars from me for the items that were good and their friendliness. They seemed happy to greet each customer that came in. Our server was friendly until she disappeared and I waited 15ish minutes before just walking to the front to pay so I could leave. I would go back for the salad...it was fresh and vibrant AND the dressing was perfect."

"It is a five-star-on-everything restaurant! My local colleague recommended this seafood restaurant. I actually ate there two night in a row simply because everything is so good. Gumbos are authentic. Raw oysters is fresh and tasty. I ordered crawfish half-n-half (etouffe fried). Our waiter, Sandy, is so friendly, can remember my order clearly, and even read my mind on what I need. Not just delicious food but the whole satisfying experience."

"came here for the first on 17. November 2022 the singer was really good, but the service sucked. Saw over an hour at my table, no one came to the table to see if someone wanted to eat or drink. Had to go to the bar to get someone to the table. I ordered chickens and a coke for an appetizer, they brought the torch and not the coke I had to get back to the bar to get my coke. The bartender was more concerned with the guys sitting at the bar, then the people at the tables. And what I paid for cracking was sad, I didn't mind paying for anything, but not just saying a few pieces unnecessarily, I ordered nothing else. And by the way, they never came back to our table to see if we wanted something else. My suggestion for you is to eat before you go there. Very disappointed"

"Beers are phenomenal. IPAs are some of the best I’ve had. Sours are delicious and easy drinking. The coffee stout was perfect. Tap room is a good spot and I enjoyed the variety or tunes. In the summer it’s tough to be outside because of the heat. Lots of people complain about the bartenders in these reviews but I went multiple times over a 2 week period and found them to be friendly and accommodating. Excellent brewery, top notch beers. I would drive an hour out of my way to come back. Only gripe is that they don’t have a food truck every night."

"Mel's is one of the go-to's for some amazing breakfast in my opinion! It's really a good option after a night at the bar with friends to get something in your belly also lol. Lisa was our server and she went above and beyond with everything. Make sure you go when she's there at night and make sure Omar is back there cooking also because those pancakes he cooked were like slicing through butter! There is alot of menu options at Mel's but those pancakes will always be my top pick!"

"Great discovery! My husband and I were on my way to New Orleans and found this place. Apparently we arrived at the perfect time at 17:00 before the Friday night crowd arrived. There is a great mix of people, from families to couples. It was a great find! We ordered fried pickles, chips and crust fishqueso, and cook 2 separate crustaceans. The price was a little more than expected, about $120 for everything. The only complaint would have been the fried pickles. I enjoy cut pimples instead of pickle spears because it's easier to inflate. But everything was delicious."
