"Went through the drive thru to pick up an order, they told me to wait in a pickup space, and then forgot about me for 30 minutes. I know they forgot because I watched about 25 people go through the drive thru and receive their food. I've worked these jobs before so I know it doesn't take 30 minutes to make fries, even a bulk order of fries. (It generally takes about 6 minutes, for anyone wondering So I called the store, told them I was waiting, they acted like I was a new customer and told me to wait. They forgot about me for 30 MORE minutes. I called again--a total of 6 times--and they finally picked up on the 6th call. This time I snapped at them a little and told them I had been waiting for an hour. Again, they acted like I was a new customer they didn't help yet and told me to wait. I was prepared to wait another 30 minutes if I had to, but somehow they had my order in hand within 10 seconds, implying that they had it this entire time and simply forgot to bring it out.I've worked in food service, I know how it can be in general, and I know food service is tough right now especially. I try to be very patient and kind, but this was ridiculous. Not even a sorry.I'm not mad that I had to wait an hour. I'm mad because I waited while my food got cold--for no reason other than someone's carelessness--and was offered no apology for it.Maybe if y'all paid your staff better, they would care more about the job they did. Just a suggestion."
