"Beef fajitas were very tender and the chicken was moist but I would not recommend the sour cream enchiladas, they were very bland and the sauce was just plain tasteless sour cream that had been diluted down with a little milk or water. We definitely will try it again."

"The best Italian food I have ever had! I tried several of the deserts and though they were all excellent the Italian Cream Cake is ridiculously great! They had a pretty big crowd but we were seated quickly and in no time we had our food. The proportions were each enough for two people. Especially if you intend to have desert. The staff was super friendly and polite and it was a great experience. Our families will be regulars. Food: 5"

"My favorite breakfast place in Carthage! I liked the Farmer Bros coffee served here so much I order it from Amazon for my house. The reason I go to Carthage Family Restaurant is for the Skillets. This visit I had the Meat Lovers Skillet, loaded with ham, bacon and sausage. Another hit. Their serving was plentiful, I was full when I left. Plenty of other menu choices if skillets are not your thing. Our server was prompt and pleasant. Can't wait to go back."

"As of Saturday February the 19th Chef Bo Eugene Deal is no longer working at this business. Many of my sauces..soups.. special dessert... etc will be no longer available. I still have the rights to all of recipes not kascade. If you go there you will not be getting the things i have created. Ill keep you posted to my new location and possibly my own restaurant. "One of our favorite spots for some good Mexican food. If you are in to hot salsa you have to order their salsa picosa. My partner always orders horchata and slurps it right down. "A few years back I had given to this el charros and recently decided to give him another chance and let me tell you I am so glad I did! You've changed places since my last visit and it's very nice. "We had our 51st class meeting yesterday. I can't say enough or express myself enough to tell you what a wonderful experience we had in this restaurant! I recommend this place. The event room was really nice and the staff was so friendly and helped us enormously make our special time to remember safely! Everyone seemed to really enjoy the food. She was spot on in her servicing us and the suggestions she gave us on items were as she said... Fantastic. Side note about her. She is what will make our country great again. She is working her way through school not asking for handouts and has the time to brighten everyone's day with her upbeat manner..."

"We had catfish dinner, my husband had Onion Rings and Slaw as sides, there were also two hushpuppies. But his Onion Rings were so greasy that by the time we got home he was ill. The fish we both agreed was fresh and taste good. I had salad and applesauce (which was right out of the jar) not likely to return. The wait crew was friendly and attentive to drink refills."

The service was also top-notch, earning a 5 as well. The atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, also receiving a rating of 5. I highly recommend this restaurant for a delicious meal in a great environment."

"An interesting place. You can tell by the building layout and old items that the building used to be a Golden Corral. The food was edible. I had the country fried steak with Mac and cheese and fried okra, my significant other had the shrimp basket. My country fried steak was a little salty. Appeared to be a frozen patty but it could have been fresh. Mac and cheese was lacking in flavors. Wasn 't impressed at all. My significant other liked the shrimp, her fries were cold when served, and the Cole slaw came in a little mouth wash cup and wasn 't good. Our server was very quiet but polite and the host who sat us was very nice and friendly. I would probably not eat here again if ever back in town. I didn 't use the restroom to rate those but a good rater always knows the restroom always sets the tone for the restaurant. A dirty bathroom always means a dirty kitchen.The bread basket (rolls) and butter were good. Very similar to golden corral rolls with Texas steakhouse butter.Also the sign read Under New Management so maybe there is change coming. I 'd might give them another shot."

"had the Mexican dinner tonight. 2 enchiladas, both were filled with bark. one was covered with cheese and the other chili. the sauce was a very tasty mol' tasting sauce that makes both enchiladas great. the taco was also good. her small pack hot sose also hit the spot asking for 3 or 4 of these when they order the big dinner (under 6 $). only a great little place for the tour!"
