"Likely the most authentic tacos in the Triangle area. A bit off the beaten path and short on decor, it a a true rendition of the tacos we had at a roadside stand in Costa Maya, MX. Family owned and run. I finally got away from my taco habit and ordered the chili relleno, I asked for the spicy option. My Bride got the spinach enchiladas. Both of us had a beer (I had 2). Total, with tip was $35. Everything was great and the service was friendly and quick. Again, it is a bit out of the way, being about 10 minutes west of Chapel Hill on Hwy 54. If you 're into it, they have homemade menudo on weekends (not my thing) and ceviche tostadas. Check 'em out and their market across the road, too! "Duck, both soup and entrée were terrific as were the pea shoot dumplings though the sauce was a touch bland... drinks were very good and the roasted banana sundae dessert excellent. Service also fantastic. Bar area seating was a bit loud for conversation is my only criticism- regular dining room seating was booked (or just not available online, not sure) for any day I checked so that was only indoor offered to me."

"Had dinner with family on 05/06/2022. It was a graduation weekend. They had a fixed menu 50 pp that included one appetizer, an entree and a dessert. Small portions, expensive and taste was nothing to write home about. The final bill also included a surcharge. Did not enjoy the experience."

"The amount of food that you can get for about $25 buffet is amazing at Mr. Tokyo you better be a varsity eater than a junior varsity snacker. It is best to come as soon as it opens to have a guarantee table or minimal wait time than later and have anyone from a 30 min 90 min wait for their food. Either choice is well worth it with the delicious appetizers and we'll crafted sushi. I was lucky enough to go for my friend's graduation dinner and try all her favorites with her family. They do charge for the amount of food you do not finish so it's also good to pick a good varsity team to eat when someone else taps out. For appetizers, the Mr. Tokyo bowl is a must for its specialty and only one per person. Other favorites were the shumai was soft and flavorful, tempura shrimp which was not heavy and crispy, the crab rangoon which is always good, and the octopus salad. The sashimi was delicious with well dressed and seasoned rice and fresh fish. The sushi was also fantastic with lots of fish filling and great flavors. The food is handed without order and as come service, so be sure to make room for plates as they come. It's a great sushi buffet that is well worth the price and shared meal with well trained eating friends."

"Really good food, really plain restaurant. Skip the sides. Went here for the ratings, and the main courses didn 't disappoint. My wife and I had an absolutely delicious chicken, parmesan and veal parmesan, with a wonderful sauce. Cooked perfectly. Salad was good for a side salad but needed salt. Calamari was over breaded, but tender. 'Bread ' with the meal was disappointing at best. The cost was a little high for the no-service, no-frills environs. Still, was worth going for the great main course."

"First time here and my bowl is extremely disappointing. I’m still in the parking lot trying to eat my lunch and feel compelled to write. The riced cauliflower is like warm mush, the veggies look like discarded bits, poor quality chicken, the bowl is only half full, and to top it all off the dressing tastes very processed. $17 for one bowl later (including tax and a tip for people who saw me walk in to pick up my order but didn’t even acknowledge me) and I will not be coming here again. Take your money to Happy and Hale, which is always fresh, delicious, and slightly more affordable."

So, instead of saying that they didn't do that, he managed to provide us with what we needed. a wonderful experience. both server, dane and luke, were very friendly, helpful and present. and with us spoke occasionally about our meal in a pleasant and inconspicuous way. he was funny about the way and wise how he would answer and when we were all finished with our meal, held a nice conversation with us. He was even nice enough to make a picture for us. my whole family had nothing but good things to say about the server and the chef. the atmosphere was also very elegant. there is a glass door that allows air inside while also the ac running inside to keep a beautiful balance of cooler air and an open feeling. it would have been a great look for a sunset collection. the decor was also great. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others."

"I was so hungry that I forgot to take photos. The wings were delicious. I used to live in Buffalo and trained on the wings at the Anchor Bar and Duffs, so I know my wings. They were very meaty. I ordered them medium, but they were on the milder side. I'm not a huge fan of spicy food, but I think their hot would be considered a normal medium. The waffle fries were tasty, but I got them dusted in BBQ rub which was actually too salty for my taste. I recommend trying the garlic parm fries instead. My daughter had them and thought they were fantastic."

"I’ve had Indian food all over the USA and England, and this is some of the best I’ve come across. Vegetable Korma is delicious if you’re vegetarian, with the veggie samosas, Tamarind chutney, and some Naan- you’ve got a great meal that is filling and easy, and full of spices. Kids love the chicken tikka masala. The “medium” spicy is pretty spicy- about like “hot” salsa so be advised. This place deserves to be really busy. They are fast and organized with takeout, which is easy to pickup. Before the pandemic, we loved the lunch buffet. Hope to come back for that as soon as our youngest is vaccinated. This place is not flashy looking, but the food is legit good."

"After spending the morning helping my daughter move into her apartment, she treated me to lunch at this restaurant. I ordered a Hawaiian Burger, 2 North Carolina hotdogs, and onion rings - all of which I thoroughly enjoyed and devoured. The food hit the spot and did not disappoint. The waitress was incredibly sweet and attentive, despite the busy crowd. We were served quickly and checked on multiple times. The prices were very reasonable as well. Overall, a great experience - we will definitely be back."

"the service is terrible. the order called at 17 o'clock. the cashier said 30 minutes, it will be done. my mother drove 30 minutes to pick it up and waited until 18:30, it wasn't done. they said 20 minutes so we canceled the order and they said that it is good that they did not even do it yet. it is not so hard to tell a customer the real waiting time. "It had been a while since we had been to Time Out, and the first time at their new location. OMG, it was all so good, and I do mean ALL! We ate the whole thing! Hal had 2 large fried chicken breasts, mashed potatoes gravy and butterbeans; I had chopped pork BBQ, mac cheese and greens, and we each had one of their Huge biscuits. We have never had anything here that was not excellent! I think it is cool that there is an establishment where the college kids can go and get a true home cooked meal that is not only awesome, but a good deal for a lot of food."
