"This is my go-to local casino. My normal game is Spanish 21, but they have instituted $50 table mins for that game on the weekend. I am sorry, but they are not at the same level as an MGM. They do not warrant that high table minimums on the weekends. Most weekends now, that table remains empty (dead in casino terms). I have since learned a couple poker table games and now play there if I decide to make the trek. I will not play a $50 minimum on any game. But I have scaled back my visits to this casino. The dealers are friendly and helpful when asking game-related questions. I know a fair amount of dealer and floor personnel. They always greet me by name and ask where I have been if I haven't visited in a while. They finally got new chairs for the tables (October 2023), and I heard that they will begin replacing the carpet in March 2024. The chairs are a lot more comfortable than the old ones. Safety: In my opinion, this is a relatively safe casino. I recently left my phone in one of the bathrooms by accident. I noticed almost immediately and went back to the stall I was in, but it was already gone. I made my way to the security office, but there was no one there. I asked the door greeter to contact one of his peers. While I was waiting, someone dropped my phone off to him. He came back around the corner and asked if I was looking for my phone. I was thankful someone turned it in. Food drinks: Even though they revamped their food court a few years ago, the food us just ok in most of the casino. Nine Dragons (Asian restaurant) and Final Cut (high-end steakhouse) are both good. They closed the buffet during COVID and have never reopened that area. My suggestion would be to repurpose that area into another restaurant. Maybe it could be a Mexican restaurant or maybe a cafe type of place."
