"After attending a memorial service, we decided to try out the restaurants near us and stumbled upon 1st Street Grill in Childersburg. We were very happy that we did because it turned out to be a fantastic soul food restaurant. To start, we ordered fried green tomatoes and blooming onions, both of which were fried perfectly and some of the best we've had. For dinner, I had the 10-piece baked wings with fried okra and Cajun corn as my sides. The fried okra was homemade and fried perfectly, while the Cajun corn was delicious. My friend had the special, which was fried chicken leg and wing, and they were cooked to perfection. For dessert, we shared a slice of key lime cake, which was absolutely delicious. There were 13 of us in our group and everyone ordered different things, and no one was disappointed. The staff, especially the young ladies working there, were very attentive, friendly, and had great personalities. We will definitely be returning to 1st Street Grill."
