"Only our 2nd visit since 1995 and it 's still busy. We loved the food then. A pleasant bar setting and dining rooms with tables spaced apart enough. First came the nice, warm egg shaped rolls, but with only butter, no dipping oil. The Chicken Lasca came as a thin slice of chicken breast stuffed with lightly smoked ham (small cubes, as usually seen in diners , Swiss cheese fresh broccoli (finely chopped? . Not very satisfying. It came with an average baked potato. An antipasto was large with enough good things in it. Mixed greens with imported meats cheese tossed in vinaigrette. The special fried chicken with eggplant was the most disappointing of the night. It was HUGE and topped with a little melted cheese and sauce, but I had to take most of it home to disassemble it to see what was what. I believe it was one or two layers of thin slices of breaded chicken breast, topped with two ¼ slices of breaded eggplant and maybe more cheese. It tasted good, but for $30+, breading should not have been the prime ingredient. This came with a dish of angel hair pasta topped with a yummy, but not quite enough, smooth red sauce."
