"This is a classic, high end steak house in a Colonial setting in a fine hotel. As one would expect, they also have fish, seafood, and vegetarian dishes. The steak selection is huge often 12 to 15 cuts. Mine was grilled just to the 'pinkness ' that I requested, and arrived with a side sauce bordelaise, per my request. Side dishes of mushrooms, roasted potatoes, and asparagus were delicious. Service was prompt, subdued, and not pushy. This is a great place for a special meal with that special someone."

"I really wanted to write a review based on this particular experience I had. I came here a couple of months ago looking to only get some Patties because people’s choice only accepts cash and no card so I figured that’s all I had enough to get. The owner was so kind she insisted on giving me a meal. I guess they really are what they promote themselves to be ! The food was great, and I love to support great people !"

"A very cool local theatre specializing in indie films and unique film experiences. The space also features “the Little Cafe” a simple cafe space serving wine, snacks, and hosting frequent live music. Though the café space lacks a bit in the arena of ambiance, the crowd and music usually make up for it."

"This cozy café offers an excellent selection of drinks and sandwiches, with plenty of seating available and a friendly staff. It’s spacious enough for you to find a quiet corner where you can settle in and be productive, all while enjoying a pleasant background soundtrack. The decor is inviting and exudes a sense of pride. Wifi is available for free, with password-protected 2.4 GHz access. As for parking, the lot is somewhat limited, but there are several spots to choose from."

"Great pastrami, soup, and salad combo. Was fairly dead for a mid week lunch, but perhaps it's just because of Thanksgiving week off for area businesses. Native seems to cater to the business crowd and perhaps Geva theater guests. Unless I am in the area again I'm not sure I'd return; the menu was basic and I didn't see many must-have options to try next time. I would also consider Native for large groups or private dining space for events."

"Red Fedele's Brook House has been a staple Italian restaurant in Greece for decades! I personally regard it as the best Italian restaurant in Greece. The venue is very open, inviting, and warm. The staff are always fantastic, and the drinks are made well. Once seated you're treated to complementary sliced Italian bread and butter, and the bread they use is especially good! An appetizer I cannot recommend enough is calamari Capri. They are served in a wine butter garlic pepper sauce, along with banana peppers and black olives. The calamari Capri is probably the best calamari I've ever had, and my family get it every single time we come. The real star of the Brook House menu is the Veal Parmigiana. It's a dish we order very often when going out to eat, and I can say with all confidence that that Brook House has the BEST veal Parm we have ever had. The outside is crispy, and the inside is perfectly cooked and moist. The sauce and cheese are equally fantastic! While in all honestly the pasta on the side is nothing special, the dish on a whole is still the pinnacle of this restaurant. My family and I have been coming here for years, and we plan on coming for years more. In a day and age where it seems like nothing good stays the same, the Brook House has always been consistently excellent! Red himself always makes an effort to come to your table to welcome you and tell you how good his sauce is! "I lived in the Carolina's for multiple years and have eaten sushi for years ranging from exotic raw sashimi to traditional rolls. Do not order the sushi here. The sushi selection is extremely small and very limited when it comes to traditional sushi. I ordered the spicy tuna roll, katana roll and the rainbow roll and each one was very warm including the raw sushi, tasted off, and were poorly made. After a quarter of my sushi I noticed my stomach instantly knot, and I began to shiver, and I needed to throw up. I got food poisoning. The big red flag is most of their rolls are NOT raw, and even their cooked rolls were not good at all, the katana rolls seaweed salad tasted horrible/rotten and I love seaweed salad. The poor waitress was running around like a work horse and we spent over an hour waiting for 5 rolls of sushi, she atleast took off the tuna roll from our order. Walking out I noticed the sushi bar had raw fish pressed against the glass (not uncommon) but it had direct sunlight on all of it. Sadly the owner of the restaurant left just before we cashed out, and the manager was unsure what to do so she took my number and name. I am currently dealing with my food poisoning... and can say, this has sadly been the worst sushi I have ever had."

"In a nutshell, I 'd describe everything as good, but not great. If you just want to stop someplace and get some food, this will be fine. If you 're looking for an over the top dining experience, I 'd guess you 'll be disappointed. The budda food shrine inside the restaurant near where you first walk in I liked, and it sort of raised my expectations. Service was good it was a little odd that the Crab Rangoon appetizer we got was the last dish delivered to the table, and that our entrees weren 't brought to the table at the same time; but that didn 't bother us.We specifically got one entree with the Xo sauce recently hearing this sauce is very flavorful and deeply umami, but we found the version we weee served very subtle. Not bad, just not what we expected.Parking: There is a small lot adjacent to the building, and parking on both sides of the street. We were there on a weekend night, so street parking was free at that day/time."

"A great BIG delicious dinner from Pita on Mt Hope Ave in College Town. I had the Mashawi Plate , an assortment of meats and sides plenty to eat and some for lunch tomorrow. The owner was very nice explaining all the selections, I will be back."

"This is the kind of place where you have to take it for what it is. It is a bar that you can dock your boat at. That is the key appeal here. Most of the patrons looked like they had spent the day on a boat. The view is amazing sitting right by the water. That alone, to me, is reason enough to stop by and have a drink. The food is not great, but it's okay. The service was what you would expect from a group of very young servers who mostly looked like it's their first job. They were sweet. All in all, the atmosphere is the reason to go."

"Incredible!!! The restaurant's interior appears to be a former small factory or industrial space that has been expertly transformed into a dining environment. The exposed brick walls and rustic wooden accents enhance the authentic Italian atmosphere. I absolutely love the decor. Now, onto the menu. It truly feels like a trip to Italy, perfectly mirroring the format and options you would expect in an Italian eatery. I ordered the Rigatoni al Forno, and as soon as it arrived, I knew I had made the right choice. The portions were more than generous, served in a sturdy pan that retains heat beautifully, complementing the dish perfectly. I've noticed some reviews criticizing the service, but ours was perfectly fine. However, the restaurant does embrace a traditional approach, which may not align with the expectations of some American diners who are accustomed to a different service style. I found the food to be outstanding and can’t wait to return."

"The line was HUGE. Best customer experience I've had in a long time. Got my order quick once I could put it in but they're WAY understaffed. They had only one employee at the busiest time of the day. And the one employee was running around like crazy backthere trying to keep up with all of them while trying to take orders at the same time."

"This is what happens when someone takes a classic staple of a historical Rochester bar, and ruins it with dreams of being a NYC bistro bar... this place used to be welcoming friendly and really took care of its customers... currently, I felt like it's doing the opposite. The kitchen closes way to early on weekends, and the drinks are overpriced for what they actually serve you. I understand a great mixologist or legendary bartender who wows the masses can be a great thing for any bar, and that might warrant higher drink prices usually found in higher end establishments. I did not feel.like that was the case here at all.. The staff here was not overly friendly and did not make any effort to treat us with any sort of acknowledgement, until we literally had to ask for drinks.. (it wasn't even busy on our visit) We went upstairs which is nice looking, but literally empty with no one up there? Where are all the people for this lounge area they created? When we actually saw an employee up there, he answered our questions rudely, and made us feel dumb for even talking to him.... so that sucks. Basically, I will end it with this. If you like people being pretentious and treating you like your not cool enough to be in thier average establishment that overcharges for meager drinks...The Richmond might be for you! If you want friendly service in a timely manner with a welcoming atmosphere, you won't find it here."

"I am here several times and love it so much that it is the place where I take all my guests out of town because I know they will love it. When you go to breakfast, they have amazing pancakes and coffee that is better than most coffee shops. I really try to work my way through all the sandwiches, but I have to meet another one I don't like. Pro Tap to get the frits with your sandwich/burger. You are amazing and you get a huge portion"

"We live in East Rochester and we usually visit the Monroe location, but we really wanted sea so we decided to go to their Mount Hope location ? never again came up to $40 and completely forgot half of my order didn’t put any meat in the order order the pho I got a half a container of broth less than a standard portion of noodles, and they completely forgot the rest of the sides that came with the dish. I called to let the manager know that what had happened and she just completely shrugged it off like do better as a manager you should be ashamed??????"

"On my first trip to Rochester, Maru proved to be my go to place for dinner. The sushi is fresh and the staff is welcoming.I had a remarkable, kind, professional, and knowledgeable server named Dani. Each night, she helped me choose the best meal for evening whether it involved sushi, sashimi, maki, green tea, sake, and even dessert.Dani is not only an exceptional ambassador to Maru but to the City of Rochester as well.I do hope Maru expands their sushi menu a little to showcase more variety. While in Rochester, I hope this becomes your go to establishment as well."
