"This is a great discovery..I happen to stumble across this cool old building on my way out of Peninsula Campground. I popped in grab the chips and salsa and a cold Victoria for starters. The chips were good basic chips. I don't believe there prepared in house, no big deal, just my thoughts based upon my years of loving on Mexican! Here's where the rubber meets the road, or more like the chip meets the salsa! They made a fantastic, FRESH pico de gallo..the tomatoes and onions taste so fresh I would have believed they were picked in their backyard just before they prepared it. Well, of course that wasn't the case, but it tasted every bit like it. I was also graciously offered there hot sauce that is kind of like a paste but this hot sauce is where I discovered the word Fusion in food. It gave you every flavor of hot Mexican paste salsa followed with hints of Hawaiian, Cajun and other wonderful regions that came following the initial spicy taste, that was awesome! I ordered a chicken burrito. Now this wasn't just your everyday simple chicken burrito, it sure did look like it but once you bit into it all these different flavors that popped after the initial bite is where the fusion really takes on it's true characteristics. Amazing job folks! This place is a bit far from where I live but I can guarantee you I will drive back again 30 minutes to try more of the items on this menu!! Note: I met Corey the owner, his mother and his amazing fiance, they were the ones running the show and they're doing a fantastic job! I will see you again soon!"
