"A Valentine’s Day Disaster! My wife and I arrived for our reservation at 7:30. At 7:55 I went up to the Hostess and asked her to assign a waiter to our table. Waiter #1 promptly came over and asked us what we would like to eat for dinner. I first asked him to serve us water, bread and the wine menu. Waiter #1 promptly returned, poured us our first glasses of water and gave us the wine menu. That was the last we saw of Waiter #1, although we did see him server bread to a couple who had been seated well after we had been seated. At 8:10, I went back up to the Hostess and asked here to give us another waiter. Waiter #2 promptly came over and asked us what we would like to order. We asked if there were any specials and he replied Bronzini, Salmon and Scallops. We asked him how they were prepared, and he replied that didn’t know. We then asked for a white wine and gave him the number shown on the menu. Waiter #2 started looking through the Wine Rack where the red wines are kept. When we told him that we ordered a white wine and it was probably in the refrigerator, he replied “thanks, that narrows it down for me”. That was the last we saw of Waiter #2. At 8:25, we got up and left the restaurant. As we passed the Hostess, she apologized, but the fact of the matter is that she should have been far more proactive in making sure that we were being taken care of given that I had approached her two times. Sorry, we will never be back"
