"I'm not going to lie. When my brother asked me to buy fried chicken for dinner, I automatically thought about Publix. You can never go wrong with their rotisserie chicken, fried chicken or wings BUT it was 9pm and I knew I would be wasting my time by driving over to my local store soooo plan B was Popeyes! Everyone was starving after spending the entire day painting and at that time on a Sunday there are not many options so we headed to the closest location (since they're opened until 12am) and we ordered a family meal plus mashed potatoes and biscuits! The smell in the car on our drive back home was torture! The minute we got in the house, it was like a frenzy...lol My brother was the first to rave about how good the chicken was. So juice and mouth watering and just finger licking GOOD! I wasn't surprised. This location near my house never disappoints. I don't know what they do different but EVERY SINGLE thing tastes so damn good! The biscuits literally melt in your mouth. The mashed potatoes are smooth and rich! And the C H I C K E N....hmmmmmnn!!!!!!! It's the best of the BEST! I think the only other time I enjoy eating with my hands is with a seafood boil. I hate to have my hands dirty but this is the exception right here!! I have had my share of fried chicken from fast food chains and once upon a time, my favorite was KFC but last time I had it, it was cold and you could tell it had probably been sitting there for hours. Not fresh out of the fryer like you would imagine it to be. So if you are ever in the area and feel like having real GOOD fried chicken from a fast food place, THIS IS IT! Plus the employees are nice and friendly too. That's another plus! Oh and sorry, but no pics. The minute I turned around to grab my phone, the box of fried chicken was almost empty. I need to be quicker next time or buy an extra box...lol"
