"Everything about Effie's was great! Effie is an amazing Chef and person. She takes the time out to stop by tables and talk to her guests to see how we are doing and if we are enjoying her dishes. The homemade Baklava was supppperrrr yummy , as was the Spanikopita. Loved the mussels with Feta too and the fried cheese and zucchini slices. The food was delish all around . Took a friend there for her first time. It's a BYOB. We loved the atmosphere in the garden in the back yard. The server was very attentive too. I definitely will be back there again with family and friends. Would recommend this place to everyone."

"The food over all was really good. I havent had pork chop this good for a long time. Just moved to the area not long ago and now I found my new favourite Vietnamese spot. The grilled pork summer roll is one of my favourite. Will be ordering from here again."

"The Super Combo Platter was the best thing Ive tasted all week. The platter was jam packed with FLAVOR! The Falafel (4)was new for me and like it! Very hot and flavorful. The Pistachio Baklava 4pcs was a dream. I havent had this since I was 12 and it taste the same! Thank you!"

"Everyone that knows me and follows me on social media knows that this place has been my go to brunch place. I’m absolutely obsessed with anything BRUNCH! However, I’ve been super busy with life, new promotion, turned demanding job. A child who’s been going through hip surgery and rehab, and all that life can bring you. So, when my friend wanted to go out and I found time to squeeze in “me” time. Of course I’m choosing Aksum, welp! I ordered my fav, chicken and waffles which kept changing from the very first time I had it, but it was good so I kept ordering it, until NOW! Three flavorless chicken fingers and four doughy non flavored waffles, so unimpressed. WTH! happened, I know it’s been some time, but why change a good thing. I won’t even really mention how runny my GF’s grits were, or how cold her potatoes were or the burnt toast she sent back. I’ve suggested this place to friends and strangers and now, I’m literally googling new brunch spots. I was hopeful my experiences would remain positive at Aksum, since my horrible experience at Bookers was ignored by both management and the owner. Sigh!"

"How can a 3 inch square of salmon and small side dish of spinach cost $41 in a neighborhood Italian place? New ownership seems determined to drive away regular, local, neighborhood customers--maybe they 'll be able to keep the Bro parties like the one of 15 shouting young guys in the mezzanine dining room shouting some kid of chant in unison last night. Not pleasant. Owner tried to make things better after lots of discussion but the future does not look bright for what was a great spot. :"

"Customer Service. Start there. I called and they were so friendly and helpful. I got the Egusi with no meat, and Fufu. My friend got the oxtails. Food was fresh and tasty. My only downside was just a litttlleee bit more oxtail needed and less rice. I will definitely order again though!"

"Service was horrendous. We had a reservation and were seated by the hostess and then waited for 20 minutes without anyone coming to our table no water, nothing. When we finally got a server’s attention, she took another 5 minutes to come take our order for drinks or food. While we were sitting there for 25 minutes we noticed that no tables had food, several tables were unsuccessfully trying to get their server’s attention, and one table asked for the manager with what seemed like some angry complaints. I don’t usually review restaurants, but this experience was terrible and no one working in the restaurant, including management, seemed to care. The food was good when we finally received it, however we got the wrong food the first time and had to ask for silverware and napkins. We will not go back."

"So disappointed! The pork was not fully pulled, nor was it mixed in BBQ sauce. And the Greens taste old, overcooked, and burnt. I have eaten here before, and the burgers are super delicious as for the rest, I think Ill pass."

"Alhum'dillah!!! My wife n I drove from Atlantic city, NJ because we enjoy finding new spots to eat. Especially when we seen the food reviews on jl jupiter TV on you tube. Plus it's a Muslim restaurant. Anyway we can support our brothers and sisters in faith, we will ! The spicey chicken cheesestake n masala fries was very good I loved it) n the Indian pizza was excellent as well. That visit was about 2 months ago, I'm glad to say we're going to take that drive again tomorrow insh'allah."

"I called Green Eggs Café on a Saturday morning to check on the wait times and was so happy to hear there was barely a wait. My friend and I rushed over and were bursting with excitement to see all these empty tables around us, when we were reminded of their stupid cash only policy. Unfortunately, neither of us carried cash or had our debit cards, so we had to leave with our hungry bellies. As we walked out, we noticed Fishtown Diner across the street and walked right in. Thankfully, there wasn't a wait and we were seated immediately. As I browsed the menu, I can't believe my eyes. Everything was so cheap. My friend ordered a breakfast sandwich, and I ordered a short stack of pancakes, a coffee (Lavazza), and a side of turkey sausage. The food was decent what you would expect from a diner, and the portions were huge, but best of all, the whole bill came out to be $21. And they take credit card!!! Never would I have known about this gem if we didn't bring cash for Green Eggs Café. I wouldn't mind coming back here again for breakfast food which is served all day by the way!"

"I didn't get a chance to taste the food the customer service was careless I wouldn't eat here if it was last place open I waited for my food for awhile and when I asked how much longer the cashier shrugged her shoulders it didn't take rocket science to see customers don't matter only money and when I asked how much my food was I was told I'll find out when it's ready I walked out never again."

"I came here with my siblings a few weeks ago and it was not a good experience. They have no milk alternative milk tea options, so I was inquiring about the tea options. I 'm not lactose intolerant, I 'm actually allergic to milk. It causes me to breakout into a rash all over my body and become debilitatingly sick. I am a tea lover though and I drink green tea every single day. If I 'm getting just tea, I don 't like sugar in it at all. It causes a sort of metallic taste in my mouth. Well, apparently, you can 't choose your sugar level with just the tea like you can with the milk teas, or at least that 's what this boy was claiming. I asked the almost comatose boy behind the counter, who couldn 't even be bothered to take his AirPods out, what sugar level it could be compared to. He mumbled something, but we couldn 't hear him, so I asked him to repeat himself and he just mumbled again. We asked three times if he could speak up and he just mumbled and stared blankly until my sweet younger brother practically barked at him to speak up. He sighed, rolled his eyes, and said I dunno know . Well is there someone here who does know? He shrugged his shoulders. They all canceled their orders and we just went to Starbucks. It was such a laugh my bad experience just trying to obtain some basic menu knowledge that my three other siblings were annoyed and over it. So if you have any allergies, vegan, might need some additional information, or maybe just want some basic level service, this is not the boba spot for you."

"What more can I say? Love Lizette and Aaron. My chai latte was delicious. I did not have to add a thing. Love the foam surprise.I had my first Za'atar Croissant today. It melted in my mouth and was just enough. The atmosphere is both soothing and energizing. My favorite spot is the yellow couch. That's where creativity happens."

"This was our first time dining in this hotel restaurant…wasn’t quite sure if we were in the right place, as we walked in, it’s all open and a nice large bar lounge room awaited us. The bartender was fabulous, as he literally took control of the entire room. There was a large group awaiting to go up to a wedding and it was a bit loud til they all left, but he took care of us w/o any hesitation, we picked our seating, he took our dinner order, served every course and everyone was happy and satisfied… I was impressed by him mostly of all!! The food was very good and plentiful, which we both took leftovers home and also enjoyed espressos and Americanos after!!! I would go again, as It’s right close by to everything (City Hall area) and I definitely would stay in that hotel, if I ever decided on an overnight stay!!"
