"This was our first time visiting Hope Farm and we experienced their Brunch on a beautiful sunny Saturday morning on the outdoor patio area. We had high hopes as we were driving an hour (one way) for the visit and they did not disappoint. The food, service, and atmosphere were all superb—TOP QUALITY—loved the decor inside and out too! The only slight negative to mention was we felt the front door hostess station was a bit snobby and not very welcoming (particularly the young long blond haired woman), no welcome or good bye or even a smile. Other than that, we didn’t let that ruin our visit and had an absolutely lovely time. We have already recommended the venue to other family members and friends. We plan to return for a dinner experience as well."

"We started off with the crab claw appetizer. They were small but tasty. My glass of wine was $15! I'm glad I liked it. My son enjoyed his gumbo and crawfish gravy over biscuits. My husband liked his shrimp and grits but was disappointed that the grits were not creamy. It was a fried grits cake served along side the shrimp in the sauce. I loved my artichoke salad. I would go back just for that and I am not one to rave about a salad. I ordered the duck. The duck leg was fall off the bone tender and delicious. The collards and cubed roasted root vegetables that came with it were also a wonderful compliment to the duck. All this came at a price that is above what I expect for fine dining in Fairhope."

"Went in for lunch. Ordered the kung poa chicken bowl, turnip fries, and fire cracker shrimp bowl. The shrimp bowl was correct but the kung poa chicken bowl was ordered with no jalapeño and peanut sauce on the side. The dish came out with jalapeños and sauce on it. I sent it back and was told they brought me the wrong one. Then they brought another one a few minutes later and as you can see in the picture it was just mixed in and spoon was even dirty. I sent it back and cancelled it. The waitress argued with me that it was made new but it clearly wasn?t. The turnip fries were ok but setting in grease and my wife?s shrimp bowl tasted like the shrimp were frozen and were musky. Won?t be back and this was our first time."

"A friend of mine gave me rave reviews about this place. So I said I’m gonna try it. I ordered online placed an order for the special large pizza, garlic bread bites and a half a gallon of iced tea. The total came to 29.61 I rounded it up to $35. On the pizza I ordered the whole thing pineapple and sausage when I get home it was half sausage and pineapple half half plain I wasn’t about to call and take it back and have them either put extra toppings on and reheat it or make me a whole new pizza it wasn’t worth me going all “karen” . The sauce isn’t good the crust isn’t good. The sausage is kind of bland. I was very disappointed. I do not think I will go back. It’s overpriced for the product you get."

"At first I would like to point out that I have left NIE an assessment, but this place is not to say goodbye. Yesterday was our second visit, and it was excellent both visits. Everything is fresh to order with its highest quality of ingredients. My husband ordered Mike's beef both visits and said it was the best burger on both sides of the mobile bay. I ordered Mary's chicks for the first time, with homemade potatoes and Konechu sausage soup. The sandwich was the best I ever had. The soup.. OH MY it was so good, I had to order more to take home for dinner. The second visit I ordered the Blackened Mahi Mahi Sandwich, with grilled onions, Elberta cheese and peppercorn mustard, I was in the sky. My husband and I eat something and I have to say I have high standards when it comes to food. I have ZERO complaints about this place. We're going from Nordalabama to come here, and we're going to do this! Finally found a jewel. Service was great, and sweet tea was perfect. Can't wait to go back. Stay fresh locals!"

"Thanks to Waze, Tamara's was a recommended lunch break... So we stopped! Fairhope is a nice city with a wide selection of shops and restaurants. We moved to Tamara at 1:30 and sat right away. The host sat and spoke to us briefly about the menu. She recommended the wild Salmon BLT or the turkey Avacado Wrap. We had both and they were amazing!!! The waiter was wonderful and shared our packaging on two plates for us. We were in and out in less than an hour and we had a wonderful lunch... highly recommended!!!"

"I found this place on yelp and came in based on the recommendations. So glad I did. I came in with a friend and ordered the shrimp basket blackened. I had it with the potato salad. The shrimp were perfectly cooked and the seasoning was very tasty. The potato salad was creamy and had some bacon in it. Also delicious. I loved the feel of the place. Feels like an old fish camp. Great outdoor seating but you can also eat inside. Our server was very knowledgeable and honest about things she liked on the menu. It was such a great experience that I brought my husband back two days later and had another great meal. We both had the blackened shrimp and fish baskets. Delicious. Come in. You will be glad you did."

"The fish and chips showed firefish, slightly broken. The frits were common, but the fish were very good. Her reubs were also quite good with very delicate horned beef and quite good rye bread. They seem to make their own sauces when I discovered the Russian dressing on the reub to have a non-bottled taste. The starter sauce was also somewhat different from any one I tried; no dill or pimple relish. The potato salad was decent. Only had 1 beer, a pasture on tap, but it was clear that they kept their beer lines clean. Will return. The terrace is smoke-friendly, which I find refreshing in this world, although I only smoke cigars that are allowed later in the night when most diners are finished."

"Check food quality. During an unexpected stay in a local hospital I found myself in desperate need of a good pizza cake. I live in Spanish Fort, which is without a good local pizza link, so I took advantage of this part of the Eastern Shore. The cake came nice, warm and fat free with a beautiful dust of flour still around the edges. The crust found to be the best part of the whole. The crust was chewing with a beautiful sweet/savory bite. A bit of yeast is that even a word? ended the bite. Not sure the milk/fat ratio of the cheese they use, but it was not oily quite full taste. Sauce was as easy as Pizza Sauce should be. The only problem I had was that I wished the tomatoes were cleaned or more crushed. In addition, I also had a small side of Caesar Salad, which was fresh and crispy. Dressing was nothing special. In summary, SSP offers an excellent homemade cake with high quality ingredients and you should support them with your next family pizza dinner... I just wish they were delivered to Spanish Fort."

"Okay, this place is the best ever! A local place in the heart of Fairhope Alabama. We never miss visiting this restaurant when in the area. Try their trio Hummus, and ask for Cauliflower pita bread (the best, they should mass produce it). Follow with their killer lamb chops and just about anything else on the menu. This place is very small with only a few tables, family-owned and always packed. 10 Star’s!"

"we had a very nice experience while we eat there. a baptized vegan options, everything felt homemade, the dame manager was very friendly. the prices are correct, the decor was super charming. all together we ate a lot there. there is a beautiful sitting place in the open as well as inside, we find all typical mezze such as 3 types of hummus, muscheln, falafels, etc. in the whole city with a large public parking behind, they will not regret the holding place."

"I do not appreciate if a company charges a credit card fee of 3.5%. Then and there we should have gone. We stayed because everyone expected to eat. Margarita was average (13.99 for medium because they did not post their drinks prices. Margarita tasted like the sweet and acidic syrup. The alambres were cut shrimps with bacon over the top. Not impressed. Hostess was rude. Server was nice. Companion had not finished a burrito that was more rice than meat, not liked. Carne asada tacos were good. I couldn't get past the fee that set the tone and ruined the meal for me."

"We sung at Sunflower Cafe on Sunday afternoon. The restaurant was not crowded and we were sitting right away. Abbie greeted us, answered our questions and brought our drinks. We ordered a chicken salad sandwich with two variations of hummus as the sides and, at Abbies suggestion, Thai Curry Stir Fry with chicken. Both articles were freshly prepared and were pretty good. The blue chips we ordered with our hummus tasted us both a bit, so we could choose Pita when we returned. Our food and beverages were added $34 with $1.30 as non-cash price adjustment. With taxes and satisfaction, we were a total of $45.48. Our thanks to Abbie for their suggestions and regular review for us during our meal. We plan a return visit to try other menu items."

"We just finished kayaking on Fish River and this place was recommended on a Kayak start app. Excellent food and excellent service! I had a hamburger... it's huge and delicious! The swamp soup was my favorite! The only problem is that there is no Fish River Grill in Ohio where we are. If you are in the area there is a great place to eat!!!"
