"My partner and I ventured to Firepan for his birthday. Stoneridge in Woodbridge offers plenty of parking and we enjoy the area for a night out. He had never had Korean BBQ, so I thought it would be a fun experience for him. I've had Korean BBQ in Koreatown in NYC and out in California. This experience does not compare to those experiences, but it was still a fun time for us. Firepan offers an AYCE option, which we opted for. We tried soy chicken thighs, spicy chicken thighs, spicy pork chop, and spicy pork belly. Though we were looking for more spice, the spicy thighs and the spicy pork chops were our favorite. The server also cooks the food for you, which, in my opinion, takes away from the experience a bit. The banchan was nice, but again, I expected more options. In the end, it was a fun night and I look forward to eating here again in the future."

"Food choices are great. Generous portion sizes as well. The menu is a blend of Pakistani (chapli kabob), Afghani, and mediterranean.Food prep is like a restaurant and the food costs like a fast-food place.Had Manto ... that comes with wonderful house salad. And the chicken burger where the chicken had a crisp bark. The servings and the prep even matched the pictures.All the food smell inside did remind of the fast-food place. A bit dark inside. And the place can use some sound-proofing implements to keep the sounds from bouncing around.Overall, I would give this place a big thumbs-up. Hope they keep up with their quality offerings"

"Super friendly staff, provided the blackened chicken breast and piping hot fries I requested. All employees were friendly and polite and acted like they care. The chicken was 7.5, the fries 6.0 . King Pollo on van Dorn is a 5.0 for both. Being Hispanic With a wife that cooks fabulous Hispanic food I am spoiled. Beats most chicken places within 50 miles except for Pollo Rico in Kenmore street, arlington, They are 10.0 for both. Been living in Northern Va for 35 years and they are still King. But I live in Kingstowne and don’t want to drive 30 minutes each way. The chicken is very well and completely cooked, zero blood, skin nice and crispy. Needs a bit more seasoning. More pepper and adobo. I don’t use the sauces, if you do, you will probably be fine. I do recommend the place over any chicken place within 10 miles, and better than most outside that. The fries are a bit thin for steak fries, not too much taste to them. Best eaten while fresh hot. My second aide was fried rice for a dollar more, but rice was just meh. Not getting rice again. If you had kids they will appreciate the Mac and cheese side. Bathroom was super clean."

"We stopped here for dinner and were really impressed with the friendly staff. They were very pleasant at the time of ordering, and we saw them cleaning up after little ones that threw some food on the floor while the mom was trying to get them into their coats. While we were eating, two people came by to ensured our meals were what we were expecting. The food came out quickly, and was very hot which was what we were anticipating on a cold evening. I had the Japanese noodle bowl with steak nice flavor with some spicy heat, but not too much. It was a much improved experience from other times we have visited this location, and we will definitely be back."

"Lots of fine places to go eat in and around DC, and this one should be on your list. Good not great choice of beers on tap, great not good food in quantities that will make you want to wait a minute before leaving or get a box for lunch tomorrow. We had the Memphis chicken, steak bomb, and alehouse bbq burger all with fries. All were really good (read great)! I chose the box to go because I was taste testing and it really is a lot of food; if I was younger or prouder I’d have made a fool of myself trying to finish. The Memphis chicken plate had the most food; I liked my steak bomb the best (biased because I ordered it). I also had a mango smoovie and it was so good I had two whole watching my son work through his burger. Service was similarly outstanding from start to finish. We sat outside in the parking lot under a shade tree. Lots of parking available. If there had been a game on we would have been inside watching on one of several TVs; I’ll be back to experience that with another item on the menu. Lots of places to go, add this one to your list!!"

"I got the Picadera La Familiar and it was delicious!! It felt like a great deal for the amount of food that came. Their Horchata is also very yummy ! Sweet with a slight nuttiness and refreshing. The pupusas were also delicious. Ill definitely be ordering here again!"

"As for the food versus the pictures on the menu, that also earns 2 stars. My friends ordered a crepe with strawberries and bananas, and they wanted macarons (which were out of stock) and butterfly pea tea (which they also didn’t have). Overall, this place is only mediocre at best."

"I recently visited this restaurant for the first time in years. I called ahead to see if they could prepare a special family-style dinner for twelve people. They were very accommodating, even when we had a last-minute change in our party size. The food was delicious, especially the appetizers. The house wine was excellent and the prices were reasonable. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere, while modest, was great. I highly recommend this restaurant."

"Delicious Laotian food that is mind blowing because it's not available anywhere else. We got these to bring home with us. The papaya salad is flavorful and so delicious. It's not too spicy for me but for others, it might be mouth burning so be careful when order. I don't know what's the other one called but the crispy rice salad is so unique and have a flavorful coconut taste. Crispy and very flavorful, you don't even need any sauce! The sausage is delicious as well. Totally recommending this place if you want authentic laotian fold in the dmv area."

"I really wanted to like this place because I love that they are family run and have been in the area for so long but it was sadly one of the worst meals of my life. The food was cold, not flavorful, and very very basic. But the prices are so high. I feel so bad that my friend treated us to the dinner because it was so disappointing and yet so expensive. I found out later that my friend went somewhere else to eat afterwards because they couldn 't eat much of their meal here. They had ordered seafood and it was overcooked, had been microwaved, had no sauce, and no flavor. It came with just steamed veggies that were cold and bland rice. Also one of the Greek salads had no feta and no olives. Just so so disappointing."

"Food is alright, kind of too salty for my taste. I had the bacon cheeseburger, which was way saltier than other bacon cheeseburgers I've had elsewhere. They seem to make it saltier so old people can taste it. This is the kind of place where you'd take your Midwestern relatives because it's guaranteed to have something that everyone would like: pasta, steak, burgers. Beer isn't bad, they have a lot of it. There is no list of what they currently have on tap though. They rely on wait staff to tell you which ones are on tap and don't even print off a daily list or anything. Staff were great and very efficient, things came out quickly."

"This was my first visit. Unfortunately, the service was amateur and really off-putting. Both the lemongrass chicken and the pork bun were very good. The appetizer, summer spring rolls, were brought out along with the entrees. Though there were only about eight other guests in the empty dining room, staff wasn 't able to get that right. Now, I 'm not the type of diner that expects my restaurant food to be prepared by a James Beard award-winning chef. But the rice paper, for lack of a better term, wrapping the spring rolls had the same texture as cardboard. They were inedible. Inexplicably, three different dining room staff served our table. This didn 't result in better service, it just meant no one was accountable. When server number 3 arrived to bus our plates, I mentioned that the appetizer was awful and inedible. He did nothing about that, and it appeared on the bill. One, you don 't serve appetizers alongside main courses. Two, you don 't serve a problematic dish like that to your guests, ever. Three, when you put your guest in the awkward position of having to alert you to the problem, you don 't then ignore him and ask him to pay for food that couldn 't be eaten. This is all Restauranteur 101 stuff. Sure, staff were not mean or discourteous. But the restaurant has been open for many years, so that apathetic and inattentive staff seems to be something they 've never solved. In a region packed with Asian restaurants, can 't say that I will be back to this establishment."
