"On the occasion of a family celebration and a class meeting, I was on my way to my old home last weekend. Since this was not a normal restaurant visit, I will try to describe the whole thing differently structured. The guest house The guest house Krone, or as you say on site, the crown has been owned by the Fritz family for several generations and is a typical Swabian village inn, in the best sense. This must be taken into account for the further evaluation. In addition to the normal restaurant business, you will find several guest rooms and meeting rooms in different sizes as well as a grown-in beer garden, which we have already visited in the past. I can't say anything at the price of this celebration because we were invited. But if I look at the prices of the hanging standard card, I would also give 4 stars here. The service Since my visit, which I described here, was a family celebration in one of the event rooms, I will also only present the service as it was offered to us there. Contrary to my expectations of similar events in other locations, I was very positively served by the two ladies. The operators always acted with a lot of overview. Beverages have always been served quickly, the customer's place change has been taken into account in a targeted manner. The buffets with the brought cakes in the afternoon as well as with the dinner were built in a discreet way in the background without suffering from the beverage service. Used plates were always clean when I came to the place with a fresh plate from the buffet. The whole is always friendly, with a smile and very family. The service is therefore very happy to receive 5 stars The food I couldn't taste everything that was offered on the cold hot buffet. Therefore, in the following only the description of the food I personally tried. Colorful starter variation: The colourful appetizers consisted of buffet classics such as caprese, smoked salmon and trout fillets as well as marinated black forests ham and cold roast beef. Except for the marinated ham I didn't know yet, and that tasted excellent to me, the rest was quite fit, but nothing special. Bovine force broth with a grits: Very good freshly boiled bovine broth (no pulumonia), wonderfully aromatic. The grits were slightly different from the consistency (homogeneous than expected), but excellent in taste, with a beautiful mouth feeling. Pork ends in the leaf dough shell Kalbsbraten Rumpsteaks: handy made very good. The meat was protected by the foliage pastry still nicely juicy, but the foliage pastry also did not pass through. As I said, well done and delicious, but nothing extraordinary. The calf roast, also made very good as a classic of Swabian cuisine. Not too dry, even after a while in the Rechaud. However, the highlight were the Rumpsteaks. I would not have thought that it is possible for a warm buffet, dressed in the Rechaud, to roast Rumpsteaks for 40 people to the point. The steaks were evenly pink, with thin brown crust. Just as I like them. Supplements: The vegetables were partly fresh (carrots, romanesco, beans) and partly TK (herbs and rose cabbage) but all of them were wonderfully hit from the cooking time. For my personal taste a little muscat would not have harmed, but was also so OK (I ever needed the place for the Rumpsteak). The Spätzle, as it belongs to a Swabian inn, were made and quite good. The sauces (attempted I actually belonged to the fish, I took them to the vegetables, and the mushroom cream sauces) were quite suitable, but unfortunately could not quite keep with the rest of the food. I did not try and evaluate the other components (brained fish fillets, mushroom pan with scrub noodles, Western potatoes, semmelknödel, rice and salads). Dessert: I only had room for a little Panna Cotta with fresh fruit salad. The Panna Cotta had a wonderful consistency, was nice creamy on the tongue but unfortunately a little too sweet. A little more vanilla would have been nice. The fruit salad was nothing extraordinary, but it was nice to Panna Cotta. The fruits used were all beautifully ripe. I did not try the other desserts (dark chocolate mousse, tiramisu, ice cream confectioner and red grape). All in all an almost optimal festive buffet. 4 stars are appropriate from my point of view and certainly not too much. The ambience The event rooms can be reached through a separate entrance, so that you can walk right through them without having to walk through the slender room. The outdoor area is very appealing. Not only the extremely beautiful beer garden, also the terrace and the access area to the event rooms are very nice. The guest room and the former secondary room, which is now actually attributable to the guest room, have already come a little in the years but still quite homely. The event rooms are brightly appealing and expedient, perhaps a little too convenient to be really cozy. The ambience therefore receives 3 stars (the beer garden alone would have received 5 stars). Cleanliness: The guest room (which I have seen from these), our event room and the toilets were very clean. From the way out of the event room you could also take a look into the kitchen. As far as I could see, everything was pikobello. There is a small depreciation for the toilets that have suffered a little late evening. You could have seen the right. 4 stars Conclusion: We will definitely come back. Especially the magnificent beer garden screams in beautiful weather just after a nice day to make a nice evening"
