"Had the usual pad see eu oak fried noodles with pork, tom ka spicy soup with chicken, sample plate with roasted tofu, egg rolls, butterfly shrimps and fried sommes. The Thai ice cream coffee was great. Shares are more than average compared to other locations. Including 2 Singha beers, our food came out around $50 for two. Come back to try other dishes."

"This place is pretty good. The portions are huge so I can say you're worth your money. Eating is not bad at all. We have Argentina style empanadas for appetizers and Italian pastas for entrees.. I was hoping for some kind of fusion, but his safe to say, the taste is traditional. But my favorite was the antipasto. Not only was the presentation beautiful, but everything from cheese and meat to spreads was great! The place is well maintained and staff friendly. It is definitely a relaxed kind of vibe."

"Please hire someone that speaks English. Do you think those iPad could replace the cashiers? Wrong! Don’t be cheap, owners! We like your excellent products, do not let something stupid like Spanish-speaking-only employees ruin your business. I submitted the order, they gave me missing meals. Instead of spending half a minute prepare my missing meal, they made food for orders that submitted after me and let me wait for 15 minutes just because of their mistake. They didn’t openly communicate with customers in English and only talked to each other in Spanish."

"Wednesday night over 1:30. Lauren was our cashier. I have to stay, she's one of the best customer service workers I know. The new Bourbon Burger was super delicious with onion straw, bacon slices and super delicious Bourbon sauce. Honestly, although it was Lauren's super embarrassing cheerful attitude that made me recognize it and write a criticism.. Update 2/25/22 Can not beat their $5 biggie meals. Bacon double cheeseburger and 4 pieces nuggets and small hair and drink all for $5"

"I tried the Talbert (Fountain Valley Exclusive) at this restaurant and it was fantastic. The spicy teriyaki sauce added a lot of flavor and the vegan option was delicious. They offer a full veggie menu, but some items can be made vegan by removing cheese or cream cheese, which didn't bother me. Overall, I will definitely return to this restaurant."

"The BEST. If you haven’t tried this, you’re seriously missing out. We love Vegan Pho and fake-Fish Tacos. We’ve tried these two dishes at so many places. But the Sun Vegan has really been exceptional! So much so that just writing this made me place another order haha. Everything is vegan here, and they are nice variety of dishes. "That was a surprise. We wanted to go somewhere else for pizza, but it was out of the way, so we decided to move here as we get gas nearby. We honestly didn't expect much. I just wanted a slice to keep us on the beach until dinner. We were very impressed how delicious the pizza was. We had not planned to order pizza for our dinner at the beach fire, but it was good enough that we wanted to share. We ordered 3 big pizzas and it took about half an hour to come to us. That was good, as we had tons, is snacks to beat. Everyone enjoyed the pizza and asked where it came from. Great fortunate that we have discovered this place and will definitely be back in the future."

"Nooo they're closed now! I never knew I liked sushi until I tried their Yuzu lemon salmon roll which was FIREEE! The salmon just melts in your mouth and the cucumber and yuzu lemon just gives it that taste bending experience. This roll even converted my brother to liking sushi. I'm glad I crossed paths with this restaurant when I did. Service and seating was fast and everyone was super friendly. The environment was peaceful and calm with indoor and outdoor seating. I'll miss this place. Hopefully they open another spot somewhere in OC. I'll definitely come back!"

"It was my first time there and I absolutely loved it. The atmosphere was great and the customer service was even better. The person who took my orders told me there was a voucher for 3 dollars from a big pizza order. This is my first time and he's just telling me about it. Good service! Now the food was phenomenal. "My family and I decided to make lunch plans before halloween and it was our very first time at shabuya, and our server Leilani was just so amazing and extremely helpful. She gave us a run down about everything on the menu without hesitation, she was knowledgeable about the broths meats that she recommended for us (which were super delicious). Leilani was super attentive and constantly made sure we had everything we needed. She greeted us with a smile and made us all feel so welcomed. We all agree she gave us the best dining experience for our first time at shabuya. Extra brownie points for her cute costume. thank you Leilani!!!"

Food can be a little expensive! Special rolls can be up to 11.25 per roll. So, if you want to murreate, just remember that it's a bit expensive at the end. Our ending overall was up to $75 but the food is so good it was worth it!!! I recommend Getting The Hot Night Roll! It's To Die For!! "Meat quality is superb!! I ordered the beef tongue and it was cut quite thick compared to other bbq places I've been to, so I would inly recommend if you really like that tongue taste and texture. I got the Kobe Cube Cut Calbi and the Prime Short Rib and they were both delicious meats but I'm not a meat connoisseur and I couldn't really tell the difference between them. The sauce is sweet and light so you can taste the flavor of meat through it, but I get that it isn't for everyone! Service was top notch, the person who served us and the person in front who dealt with the waitlist were very sweet to us. The downside to this place is that the wait is quite long, I think due to the fact that its famous but is quite a small restaurant. Also, the price ofc is pricey for quite a small portion of each meat, so if you're starving I definitely would not recommend this place unless your wallets ready! Personally, I couldn't justify the price but I think its good to give it a try!"
