"Found this place easy to navigate around the bilingual signage etc. The place has recently been painted and has a soothing ambience with soothing lavender-smelling carpets. Only on the bottom there were not many machines and it was hard to get half a decent pint of Guinness in it (so would have a better smoking zone) In addition, the holding cells get a huge thumb for comfort. A little expensive."

"Staff was extremely professional and nice and offered amazing customer service. My fathers veal was excellent. My step mothers chicken was not seasoned and extremely dry and over cooked. The red sauce seamed to be watery and canned. The shrimp scampi that I ordered tasted as if the sauce was the pasta water, it had no flavor. There was lightly sautéed spinach and pretty much raw chunks of tomatoes. They were not cut uniformly and seemed to be externally rough chop, most likely left overs of that salad and thrown in. The shrimp was cooked effectively. I do not like to waste food so I was the waitress if I could have sauce to put on the dish. She recommended Alfredo. This made the dish taste a lot better. There was browning on many of my pieces of the salad. I think I’m general that is messed up to serve brown lettuce. The bread was warm, that was a nice touch. We ordered to go deserts and the selection for deserts is great, hopefully they will taste good.Overall I would not choose to eat at this restaurant again. My dad made this reservation for a special occasion and I wish we choose somewhere else."

"we were here a couple times eating is always perfect. but our service of this trip was somewhat disappointing. a meal came 25 min before the 2nd meal and then our third meal approx. 5 min later. I beat it on the system. I understand that things happen, but someone should have come out proactiw to explain this to us. I don't hunt our server to find out. no apologies or anything offered. please look at some trainings and communication for their team. that would have helped. maybe offer a drink or dessert for the delay."

"First, let me start by saying that the food was excellent. Everything was cooked to perfection. The only drawback to my experience was the long wait times at the table. Our server would disappear for long periods of time. I found myself looking around the restaurant to try and flag her down. What made it more difficult was we were seated with our backs toward the whole restaurant facing directly outside. It was difficult to turn around and look as the large backs to the chairs created an obstacle to look for our server. For the prices, I didnt expect to have to flag down our server and waiting several minutes in between drinks and taking our orders. We had appetizers, entres, and dessert. We were seated inside the restaurant, yet there were too many fruit flies flying around and landing all over our table. The restaurant was half empty at the time. Party of two and our tab was around $220 not including tip. Decor was nice, gave a 1900 Emglish them. May come back and see if my next experience is better."

"Only outside seating available so we noticed someone eating a bowl of vegetables , I asked him kindly which bowl he was eating he said the Brussels sprouts, cabbage jicama and that’s what we ordered with d chipotle flavor sauce. It was Delicious it sure was. restaurant next door was closed we sat on their outdoor seating. Most definite will come back and try their other food items. the bowl was really yummy good"

"my man and I have been trying the risty pig for months! we could finally get reservations and thought we would enjoy an evening meal with our children. but after 45 minutes waiting for our table (still not even a starter) the host said if he (our autistic child) does not stop screaming, they must take him out. I had complained that I was so annoying that I couldn't even answer. our son wasn't a fit. he cried or flattered things. he sat in his seat and cried every few minutes. a few minutes later our son called again and I asked him if he wanted to go outside. When the wonderful young man he is, he came down from his chair to come with me. I immediately started crying and went to the hostess and explained that he had impeded and that it was very disappointing that he was told to go. She said very cold, there was nothing she could do. I took up our son and went out of the restaurant and wept with all those who looked at me angry. what a regrettable situation. the hostess was so rude and did not even try to help us or solve the problem or show any compassion. what disturbed us most is that it was the environment itself very loud and hectic. the music on, the television was up, their were great fans who blew overhead people, were at the bar and most people drank. first time we really didn't know what we expected. it is not a disabled friendly device and we will never go back."

"How about Char for lunch? Sold! I have never walked away from this establishment unhappy. Their food is always fresh, seasoned well, and you definitely get your money 's worth. The service is fast, assembly line style, and all of the people working are always cool and polite. This seems to be one of the only places I can think of lately that doesn 't seem short-staffed, at least not during the weekday lunch rush. I 've been happy with their burritos and tacos, but the rice bowl is what has my heart, and for under $15 (depending on toppings) the bowl feeds me for two meals. I hope Char remains a staple in Geneva for a long, long time. Parking: Located directly across from the post office, it can sometimes be difficult to find parking during busy times of the day. Kid-friendliness: All are welcome Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance is wheelchair accessible, and there are some marked spots for disability parking, but as someone who has loaded and unloaded individuals a wheelchair life a few thousand times, I wouldn 't be super comfortable doing this on the street and would probably go to a safer lot and walk over."

"Stopped in here for the first time and decided to buy a box of truffles, some gelato and a cookie. There were at least 8 people waiting in the store with only one employee helping customers in what is a quiet large shop!! Once it was my turn the employee starts to help me and then all of a sudden starts helping a guy who just walked in! My wife and I walked out. I refuse to spend my dollars at a business that treats its customers this way. I don’t know if the chocolate is any good or not and I don’t care as I will not return."

"Went here for the first time tonight. I am super picky if someone is charging me $40 for a meal but it was worth every penny. I had steak and scallops. My wife had shrimp over pasta. Both were excellent. Dessert and appetizer were also great. The place was packed on a Tuesday night. What else do you need to know other than make a reservation."

"Although this is a rather small place you couldn't tell be the food. We went on a Sunday for brunch. We were joined by four of our friends. The brunch menu was limited to about 7 or 8 items. The quality was well worth the limited items. I am a firm believer that by limiting the selections a restaurant offers they can perfect the meals they do offer and The Linden Social Club in Geneva did just that. We would definitely take the trip down the I90 again"

"Everything a diner should be! We sat at the counter and the special for the day looked amazing, but I opted for ham, bacon, cheese and hash browns stuffed into a perfectly formed omlet that folded over the filling like a Food Network plated photo! The omlet was topped with cheese and CHILE! Really good slow cooked chili, I might add! I asked for a side of sour cream... Good pancakes, too. Beautiful mural artwork abound! See pics.. It was a little 'diner-ee ' behind the counter .. not much space for things and stuff everywhere, but they cooked and served like a well oiled machine cranking out orders for eat in and to go!"

"I enjoy strolling by this restaurant. Sometimes, I even drive by it. I see patrons sipping coffee, both inside and outside, enjoying delicious-looking food. I love passing by this place almost as much as driving past it. The coffee here is popular among customers. Unfortunately, the restaurant is closed on Tuesdays. Despite this, there are still people sitting on the patio, giving the impression that the place is open. This can be disappointing for some. I can only imagine that these same people return on Wednesdays, happy to find it open once more."

"I love this place! I just moved to Florida having grown up in North Georgia and spending most of my adult life in Alabama and Tennessee. This place reminded me of home. Everyone there is so friendly and personable! I was looking for a specific craft beer and every person in the store, including the cook, came out to help me and my boyfriend look for it. Someone had just purchased the last box of it so I settled on another local pilsner to take home. We had a great conversation with everyone there and plan to go back for karaoke on Friday night! This place is the kind of Florida I like. It feels like I am in the South and I love it! Will definitely be back!"

"The place is clean and cozy! Amazing bar and beverage selection. Service was great and fast! Bartender were great and they had Busch Light! We have pizza, onion rings and a grilled chicken salad. Onion rings were delish, but I wish there were more vegetables and cheese on the salad. I have to add fries (the fries grow on my salads), so it insisted. Pizza could be used another minute or 2 to crack more, but still very good. I hope to make it back soon or in summer if we can hang up longer! Oh and the Loft sauce mixed with Ranch is soooo good!"

"Food and cocktails were excellent!!! I had the sirloin with grilled zucchini on a bed of ricotta with olive oil which was delicious! Sirloin was amazing! It was made with a red wine reduction and it was light but not overpowering, not masking the taste of the beef. We had the risotto for appetizer and it was the best risotto I’ve had!! The drink pictures it’s the blue lightning, it was so good!! If you like cocktails that aren’t too sweet, you’ll love this. Our waiter, a middle ages man with a beard, was excellent! He was attentive and wanted to get to know his customers. The hostesses were sweet and helpful and Rachel the bartender was as sweet as pie! Will definitely come here again!!!"
