"I went to the Cooper Canyon Restaurant in Silver Spring Maryland on August 4th with my Aunt to celebrate her birthday. She chose this restaurant because it is one of her favorites. I wrote a review of our visit to this restaurant and it was not all positive. The Manager called me after he was made aware of my review. We spoke of my review and the whole talk managers have with unhappy customers. I was told there was a Cooper Canyon Restaurant in my area and he suggested I go and check it out. Yesterday 8-22-17, I decided to go to the one in Lanham, In the Woodmere Town Center. I called before I went to make sure they had what I wanted from their menu. The person I spoke with said they didn't have the dish I wanted. (Shrimp fried in a tempered beer batter). I started to just go somewhere else to get something to eat but after speaking with the manager from Silver Spring restaurant he suggested that I go to the Lanham restaurant and speak with the manager. I did as he suggested, so went to the Lanham restaurant. I was seated, I asked to speak with the manager, whose name was Matt and I explained my dilemma. I told him what I ordered at the Silver Spring restaurant and I let him know that I had called ahead of time and someone told me that they did not have the dish that I was looking for on the menu. Matt went out of his way to explain how the menu works, he also checked to see if the chef could prepare the dish that I wanted even though it wasn't on the menu. Well I got a sample of the dish that I wanted. I was treated like royalty, and I ordered food to go! What I got from this visit to the Copper Canyon restaurant in Lanham is this. 1 It pays to go and talk to someone in person. Someone in authority. 2 Be polite and you will most likely get your way. 3 I suggest that you all go and try out the Copper Canyon restaurant whether it is in Silver Spring or Lanham you will not be disappointed! "I moved to the dmw of nyc two and a half years ago and come from the Jamaican lineage. I've been shopping in the dmw since I arrived and that's by far the best I had. their idiot is very tasteful and they give them options for sauces whether they like sharp or sweet. most places I go to get from the jerk season, their only jerk sauce is sweet like bbq sauce, and their haw is dry. this huh we have seasoned well, I could add a spicy hais sauce, and the meat was moist. the rice was also cooked for perfection! my friend had the laughs and really liked it (it is more on the sweet side, although the honey really cut. All-in-all I would recommend this device!"

"PROS: The food is delicious, the chefs are almost always friendly and engaging, and the portions are huge. I got the chicken steak combo with no noodles and double fried rice and it ended up being two dinners for me. For reference, I'm 6'1 200#. They add an auto-gratuity of 15% for parties of 1-4, so that's a savings for me because I usually tip 20% for decent service. CONS: The manager is gruff and service is sparse. It was 15 minutes from the time we were seated to the time we had our drinks and an additional 5 minutes before our food order was taken. Some of our tablemates resorted to going to the bar for their drinks. They add an auto-gratuity, but then they provide a line for an additional tip. That's unethical; either have the auto-gratuity and eliminate the tip line or drop the auto-gratuity."

"My Go-To spot for wings! Always Tasty! But the last time I went with my family there was very loud vulgar music with cursing playing. It was so loud I couldn't even hear what the person next to me was saying. I've never had this issue here before, the Wings are great but you will lose a customer if this continues. Kid-friendliness: Inappropriate music playing, so not very kid friendly. Service: Take out"

"I a place to order online and to have it ready at a specific time, I had my pickup person be there on time. I get a call at the time it's supposed to be ready to let me know the flavor of ice cream I wanted was out and one of The mix ins I wanted was out, cool I asked for my replacements. I got my ice cream less than 20 minutes later with less than half of the mix-ins that I had that I already had on my order not even have my subtitutes that they called me for. I could have gone across the shopping center to Wegmans and got exactly the same thing for $5 versus $22. I have sent Cold Stone to emails through their website and I've heard nothing back so I will be disputing the charge with my bank and NEVER coming to this place again.Give your business to mom and pop ice cream parlors that appreciate it and don't try to skimp you because you aren't right there in they're face making sure you get what you paid for. RIDICULOUS!"
