"Duck was absolutely amazing!! Our cocktails were good as well. The grits were not good hard, my girlfriend ordered shrimp no grits came with grits they comped a dessert for her. The signature dessert banana pudding high expectations…this shouldn’t be a signature AT ALL! One bit of a nice caramelized banana but underwhelming for sure ….no Wafers no cookies no meringue in it …get one from Babes next door that will knock your socks off. Ambience was really nice ask for a window seat. We would go back again just try some different things."

"First time here, stopped while in town visiting family, good price for the cheese burger and fries, no complaints here.My issue was the fried pickles, they’re horrible! All thin and chewy with holes in the middle I almost couldn’t tell if a pickle was included or if it was just pickle flavored batter!!!! I’ll know better next time."

"My family, including my 3 years old, really enjoyed our experience tonight. The appetizers were wonderful and I encourage you to get one of the samplers, with aromas of spicy (sausage and cheese dip) and too sweet (Bree and Pears Baguette) to Savory (bruschetta). The soups were excellent, especially the sausage soup that had a beautiful subtle blend of flavors. The ducks were also excellent, especially the filled lobster and the shrimps and grits. Honestly, Dessert also deserves the highest praise and our family was lucky to share a number of options. The bread pudding was perfect. The most important lime cake was the best we ever had with a beautiful lime taste without the excessive bite and sugar so often for the dish. The carrot cake was also not too sweet, but exactly right, and the pecan pie even had a rum taste that was beautiful. Of course, the servers want to do the best they really love for the Mäzen and the owner what he does and want to ensure the highest quality food and service possible. The prices were also the best value I have ever seen for the quality of food. You could actually spend less than you enjoy in a chain restaurant (depending on what you have ordered) and still enjoy top quality cuisine. We look forward to returning to the future and try other items on the menu."

"It was a Friday evening and we were seated immediately. The server was upbeat, unobtrusive and provided phenomenal service. We both ordered ribs and they were delicious! I will add the sweet potato casserole, an immediate favorite, one of those side dishes that your mind says every time I come here I will order this. Yeah, it's that good. It paired well with the ribs. Everything came out with perfect timing. The kitchen and front staff work well together."

"Food was absolutely amazing, eggs were perfect, my blueberry waffle was fantastic and THE BACON!!!!! Wow the thick cut bacon, not sure if it was maple or what they did to it but it was incredibly delicious. My wife said it was maybe one of the best if not the best pancake she has ever had. She loved the Caramel Macchiato and the sodas are self serve. The weather was cool enough to sit outside and the ambiance was just great. Service was also on point and the price was reasonable. We highly recommend !!"

"Edit to add (in response to owner's remark). We visited in May, so yes, there was a waiter on that day, and yes, I have the correct restaurant. Our waiter seemed nice, but he got our order wrong and was going to cost him the cost of the pizza since it was completely wrong. He billed us for the wrong pizza, too, but he changed it. I believe he was trying to recoup some of the cost for the mistake. Service was extremely slow. I also didn't like the waiter flirting with the 12 year old girl next to us. He couldn't have been but 18 or 19, and I thought it was inappropriate. Food was average. We ordered fried mozarells in addition to pizza. If I come back to Granbury, I will try to find somewhere else to eat pizza and/or Italian."

"Service was wonderful, our food came out really fast, way faster than we expected. The margaritas were pretty good too. I had fish tacos, they were very good."

"Upon walking in the place has a dark hot and humid atmosphere. Majority of staff are teens grouped together ignoring customers. They wanted to charge my four year old 10.00 to eat from the meal I would’ve paid for. We walked out before ordering."

"This was the strangest bar/pool establishment I've ever been to. I am from Granbury and took a friend to the square to have drinks and play pool. The first initial interaction was great. We walked upstairs to play pool and cleared a table ourselves to sit at. We were treated horrible after asking for a manager. Who told the bartender to charge our card 20% extra for inconveniencing her to deal with our complaint. I will not take anyone here ever again. And I will make sure everyone that told me to go there knows how we were treated."

"I Absolutely love Farinas! The staff are attentive and just delightful (even on days that they are short-staffed they work hard to really give you a great experience). The back patio is dog friendly, I often go and enjoy their WONDERFUL pizza and a glass of wine with my Sheltie. The last time I went (about a month ago) I had the baked whitefish which was fantastic. The inside of the restaurant has a lovely ambiance and is great for date nights. Get reservations for Friday and Saturday nights, other evenings you can usually walk in with a little (15-20 minute) wait."

"I have to say, we had an amazing experience at this restaurant! Lacy is by far the best manager I have ever encountered. She went above and beyond to rectify a mistake and ensure that our dining experience was superb. The food was delicious, the service was exceptional, and our order came out quickly. I was in and out in no time! If you have had a negative experience in the past, I highly suggest giving this place another try. Thank you to Lacy and the rest of the staff at Fuzzy for a fantastic meal!"

"We had a special family dinner at the restaurant. We planned our visit in advance and had a great meal. The service was great and made our night. The chili was also very tasty. I love to try chili at restaurants. I was not disappointed."

"Great place to eat and get coffee was very good. Went on little weekend trip with wife over Labor Day weekend. They had a little festival in town square, it was busy we went for breakfast but did not have to wait for a table very long they do have sidewalk seating in front. You do have to order you food first before sitting down but you can tell when the locals walk in they will snatch an open table before they order. That's the only down fall if you really have to get a table but everyone pretty much does their thing and leaves to get the open tables for the people that are waiting. It is a must try will go back again."

"We are locals and this is always our place for special occasions. We love the Texas Trilogy and always order this. This is an appetizer but I couldn't believe how small the pieces of meat were. The bacon wrapped quail was so small I'm not convinced that there was quail inside the bacon. The artichoke and spinach dip was more like a soup than a dip and the taste was off. Tasted more like mushrooms than artichoke. Overall our most disappointing experience at 1890 and left us feeling like we needed to go somewhere else to finish the evening."

"I would defiantly give the food higher but since I didn’t actually get a chance to order my food there’s only one star for it. I tried calling in an order today, and I guess I went through a dead zone for a minute on 144 but Robert, the guy who answered literally yelled at me and after that I was just so appalled I decided to take my business to dominos. He didn’t even wait for me to try to get out of the dead zone either. Literally just went straight to yelling. So rude customer service steered me very clear of little Caesars from now on."

"First time finally trying Chicken Express. The drive-thru line was kinda long. I was happy to see that they also had a couple, young, men with portable, ordering, pads out at the line of cars taking orders to keep things moving along. I ordered a 3- piece combo with corn on the cob and a roll. I can say that the roll was really tasty and the chicken was fairly crispy. I love Kentucky Fried extra, crispy chicken and this was ok. There aren 't all kinds of different spices in their batter. At least it didn 't taste like it. I felt that what I got for what I paid was wonderful! Their prices are really good! They aren 't my very, first choice on flavor for fried chicken, but I will definitely be back! It 's nice to be able to have a few, different things to choose from for your sides. Good job Chicken Express!!"

"I live in Granbury, although I seldom eat downtown. Today was my second, maybe third visit to The Fillin ' Station and I believe will be my last. There were Memorial Day events downtown so I can cut some slack in that most places if not all were full; However... It took a while to get a table, the Hostess was seemingly busy either seating guests or cleaning tables, but took a while to get to us. Once seated it took what seemed like at least 15 minutes for a server to come to our table to take our order and then bring our drinks. We ordered our drinks and a starter plate and the drinks came and the plate seemed to take like 30 minutes. We ordered boneless chicken wings and they came with French fries. I could swear the wings were some frozen Dyson wings from the supermarket. Not impressed in any way, shape or form. Then the wait begins for our food... we waited and waited for what seemed to be another 1/2 an hour. When the food was FINALLY served, again, I was not impressed. My plate in particular was luke warm at best, and the item they call onion rings appeared more like onion flakes and was not only something I did not eat but was completely cold. The cheese on my burger had been melted and then let to get cold, meaning it had sat in the kitchen for quite a while. In summary, my experience was the service was poor and slow, the food was not good, and the price was excessively high. After having lived in Granbury for three years I have learned that, with the exception of Stumpy 's most places in town or on the river or lake are over priced and don 't have good food. I like to support local businesses over chain restaurants (although those too are by and large franchises and local), but this is maybe the third restaurant in Granbury that I will not be returning to."

"Okay. I lived in Mexico as a child until I was about 7 years old, then again as an adult from 1988 to 2005. I know my Mexican food. Today my first time was to Garcia 's and I ordered a chimichanga, my wife ordered fish. She was not happy because she wanted grilled fish and was served fried fish, but she seemed to like it exactly the same (my wife is Mexican, so she knows, of course, her Mexican food). I was satisfied with my plate, the Chimichanga was tasty, the sour cream and miniscule served by Guacamole were good. I don't enjoy rice, but that's really no reflection on the restaurant, I'm just not a fan of what they call in Mexico sopa de aroz as rice with tomato sauce, and the beans were ok, but nothing special. The restaurant was clean, the service was decent, the people were friendly and polite, the price (and I am a tight watt) was appropriate. I'll go back the next time I feel like Mexican food. Finally, I would like to recommend that you try this place."

"We celebrated my dad’s 94th birthday here. We called ahead and were able to get the party room for our group of 25. The party room has doors and allowed for my father to mingle with everyone and hear everything going on. Often in restaurants his hearing aid does not allow for good conversation because things are so loud- but this was perfect! The food was wonderful. My father’s taste buds are not as good as they used to be and he doesn’t always eat as much, but he cleared his plate! The staff was incredibly accommodating. They arranged the tables for us, turned the fans on, lowered the air, brought a knife to cut the cake and served Blue Bell Ice cream for the whole family! As you can see- my 94 year old daddy was very pleased with his birthday lunch! We were all very pleased with the whole experience!"
