"Interesting place. I 've had two dinner experiences and they demonstrate how the right personal energy of a single employee can make or break a fine dining experience. Fine dining because the kitchen is amazing! No disappointment there. From appetizers to entrees to dessert, the food game is spot on. We 're talking innovation, creativity, and consistently well-prepped and delivered with an explanation good. I met two dudes running the bar. Dillon was the first and the experience he created was personable and positive. He wanted us to have not only a meal, but to indulge ourselves in the pleasures the environment he created and sustained through the stewardship of hood space. Unfortunately we went back a week later. As described above, the food and food service remained outstanding. We were pretty sure Dillon 's substitute did not want us there. When inquiring about specials he actually said, What you see is what you get. ! It 's all about creating an ambiance that supports the supreme culinary event. Friends, it was so bad that strangers were confiding in us that it was off putting. I 'll give Spoon another chance, but if Dillon isn 't there I 'll be walking back out and get something else."
