"Since we are not so frequently in Heidenheim, we decided spontaniously to eat at Ammos.The service was with us immediately, quick and very friendly (Welcome Ouzo included of course), just Greek.Interior style: Old half-timbered hous with a hint of mediterreanean charm (you shouldn't do too much here since it is a time-honoured Schwabian style).The salad came almost in an instance, the dressing was not the usual, idealess vinegar/olive oil mix but made with a hint of garlic and came along with some spicy white bread (soft inside, crunchy outside - perfect).As for the main plate, my wife had some fish with fries (which were crunchy & golden) and the Calamari were not just the regular deep-fried version, theses had far more Seafood than breading - excellent!My Greek Grill Plate "Amos" was plenty, the liver was nicely done, alongside gyros and a grilled pork rotisserie. Everything had the "grill stripes" and were absolutely well done. The tomato rice could have used some more spice and tomato, the Zaziki was fine so far and - as I said, plenty.We didn't expect (since very well fed) to have a dessert, yet together with the bill, our waiter brought us some chocolate mousse, cream and chocolate icecream, nicely presented on a long plate with spoons for two (just the right portion for two and also for free!!).All in all we payed about 34 € for two (two main plates, 2 big soft drinks), tip included.Plus 2 free Ouzo and a small dessert for two.All in all, we would visit again."
